Have bought a few homeware items from this store and the value is very good if you shop carefully. Check out before you buy as the quality of items can differ. You can get some good bargains.
Went there with my family on a weekend for lunch. Food was good, but service was slow. Don't go there for a quite lunch as can be noisy, but a good family place to eat.
Went to this cafe with my cousin who raves about it. Food was okay but not exceptional. Service was haphazard, and meals were overpriced. Nice surroundings.
I have been to their all you can eat buffet a couple of times with friends and find it good value. The food is fresh with a good variety. Very good value for an all you can eat meal.
Approximate cost: $16
A great place for Devonshire tea if you are up in the mountains. Zillions of things to look at while you are having your tea, cups, teapots, antiques. Only downside is that it was very packed when we were there and the staff were rushed, but friendly. Enjoyable.
Approximate cost: $14
The beauty of this bakehouse is that it is opens 24 hours a day and bakes on the premises. The pastries are very good, the curry pies okay (not as good as it looked.) Friendly service.
I have studied as an external student at this university for a number of years. I feel that there level of teaching is very good, particularly for external students. Residentials are great (usually of one week duration), and they have an excellent system of keeping students in touch with one another which prevents you from feeling too isolated.
I have eaten at this pub a number of times and have never been disappointed with the food. The Atlantic Salmon is very good. My only criticism is that it is a little pricey for a pub.
