This is a small bakery which sells the usual rolls, bread, cakes, pies and sausage rolls. None are exceptional, but the tea cake is pretty good. The staff are friendly, and prices are very inexpensive.
Sometimes go to this chemist when I am in Asquith and find the staff helpful, plus they sometimes have good specials on everday products.
I have arranged to have parcels delivered by these guys and have been disappointed. Once I had an e-reader delivered which was meant to be signed for only to here it thrown onto the verandah.
This restaurant serves Italian food and the food is good and the portions large. Service was slow even though there were only about six other customers.
Approximate cost: $25
Met a friend here for breakfast the other day-it was for breakfast at 7.30am. We both had the French toast and coffee. Both were very good & a nice way to start the day.
As a coffee drinker I find that I still have to give this place a top review. Very nice decor, lots of different tea's to choose from. I intend to go back soon for high tea.
This is a friendly hardware store. When I needed advice the staff were very friendly and spent time explaining things to me. Not as impersonal as the larger chain stores. Was able to purchase everything I needed.
This place has a good atmosphere and is good for browsing. A number of sellers under one roof, and the quality and price of items can vary. I bought a cute little 1920s toast rack as a present for a friend for $25
One of the those cafe's where you stop for a quick coffee when you are shopping. Some of my friends really like it, but I find the coffee average and really only go there because the service is good and it is convenient.
Have been to this place a number of times after going to the movies as it is usually still open. The food is okay, and the coffee good, but not overly excited about it. It's a bit overpriced.
