This cafe has recently added to their menu with some american staples. They have always done good coffee and smoothes however now they have wings, sliders, nachos and hot dogs. The sliders were very good not too small as some sliders are and full of flavour with the flavours changing each week. The wings were nice but not buffalo wings as stated and they were definitely lacking heat for a medium heat as I ordered. Its a good little suburban cafe to check out.

I don't know why anybody would go to the subway around the corner when this place is available. The sandwiches are similar prices and the quality at dannyboys far exceeds subway. They do a great range of sandwiches with fresh fillings as well a some awesome soups. Being near the university they get a bustling crowd at lunch time but it is certainly worth it. If you want a good quick sandwich for a reasonable don't got to subway go here!

This place has sprung up in a little hole in the wall in fortitude valley and they have made a great impression. The only offer three different burgers for breakfast and lunch with some variations on each but what they lack in variety they more than make up in quality. From the great brioche buns to the quality meat they are on to a winner. It is an american style burger joint with shakes and beers served in red cups as well as chilli fries for the side and brownies for dessert. This is a great little burger bar to check out.

The tacos and california fries here were absolutely great. The fish in the fish tacos was extremely fresh and the salsa, sauce and cabbage complimented it perfectly. The california fries are like nachos but done with fries rather than corn chips and were a massive serve. For $10.95 for 3 tacos and $14.95 for a massive serve of fries it was great value. The owners and chef actually learnt how to cook in restaurants in baja and tijuana and have bought there skills here. A definite check out for authentic mexican food on the gold coast.

This is not a bad pub however at times it tries to be a little too classy for its own good. It has an interesting menu which is a but more expensive than normal pub prices but it doesn't quite hit the mark. They also have an issue with guys no having enclosed shoes after 7 on a Friday and Saturday which is a bit silly for a suburban pub, especially when you are still allowed in the restaurant.

This place is great because it's something different from the usual. Their chicken is full of spice and flavour and extremely fresh. My burger was beautiful and then wings were great also. This is a great little spot to try for a taste of the Caribbean

A pub overlooking a beach is always going to get decent marks from me. The pub serves up a decent feed at reasonable prices and has cold beers in a great location. It's nothing out of this world but a good relaxing spot to have a couple of drinks and something to eat after a swim at the beach

This is a great pub to sit out on the deck and watch the day go by. I used to go down here most Saturdays for a beer and a bet before I moved away. The restaurant does good pub grub too at a reasonable price and they always have good specials. One of the best deck areas over the water in Townsville

The best fish and chips in Townsville, their traditional calamari is fantastic and when the batter is on song it is awesome. They also do a great garlic bugs and nice big burgers including bug burgers. Like a lot of Townsville fish and chips shops though they are expensive.

This place is a bit of a custom for guys on course with the job I used to do. They have a good range of dishes and the banquets certainly give enough food to feed an Army. The ambience is pretty good also with good service from the staff and quality food. This was the first place I tried roti on a friends recommendation and it is still one of the best rotis I have had. Good little asian restaurant in chinatown.
