My wife and I decided to do a day trip to Bribie Island as we had never been there before. After stopping at a few places we stumbled on Blue Anchorage after looking at a few different places as I liked the sound of the menu as they had sliders on it and I love sliders. The location is absolutely top notch being right on the water. This would be an amazing spot in summer, although it was a beautiful day the wind was a bit cold for where we dined. I really liked the sound of 90% of the menu and will definitely be back to try a few different things and they have some great lunch and weekday specials with a range of seafood and meat dishes as well as a great sounding burger bar. The oysters kilpatrick were big and tasty to start however they could have been hotter but my sliders were great with three different versions and my wife's bug and beef salad was very tasty. This is a great little spot on Bribie and would be perfect to take in a sunset or on a lazy Sunday afternoon.

This was without a doubt a great experience, I love the Marriott at Surfers Paradise and this is a great teppanyaki restaurant located within it with a number of tables and good decor. The food offered, although expensive is superb! I chose the Wagyu and Lobster from a broad range of options and the steak was up there in the top 5 steaks I have ever had. The chef had great skills and put on a good show with the flames and flipping of bowls and eggs and food. All up it was a great experience, although expensive if you don't have a voucher like we did but certainly somewhere to treat yourself on a special occasion.

I love teppanyaki and when I saw that this had opened nearby to me I had to try it. I managed to score a voucher to make it even cheaper. Teppanyaki is always a great social experience as well as a meal and Golden Wood do well with a number of large BBQs to sit around. Although it is not as good or high class as some of the more expensive teppanyaki joints I was still very impressed with the skills of the chef and the food provided. If you want a cheaper teppanyaki without having to go to the Gold Coast or the city this is definitely the one for you as the chefs still have good skills and the food is fresh and tasty.

I love American BBQ and had been wanting to try this place for quite a while. I had heard amazing reviews of their beef ribs and although they didn't quite live up to what I had heard they were still very good. The potato galettes that came with them were superb though. The beer list was very good also, however I wasn't that impressed with their wings as I am a very big wing fan I didn't think they were up to the standard they should be.

My wife and I had an amazing stay here for her birthday. The rooms are very spacious and the fire is a great touch in winter to keep the room nice and toasty. We loved the large bed and the breakfast in the morning was superb. It is a little bit further out than other places at Tamborine Mountain but right next to St Bernards which is a great pub and nothing is really too far away.

This review is for Montrachet, Paddington QLD

My wife and I have been to Monrachet a few times but it had been over a year since our last visit. Well we certainly weren't disappointed! There is a reason they only need to open during the week and not on weekends, they are that good! As with every time we have been there the service was faultless and the food fantastic. My ox tail pie was beautiful and just what I needed on a cold winter day and my steak for main was top notch. It's certainly not a place you would go to for a cheap lunch or dinner but for a special occasion or to treat yourself there aren't many better in Brisbane.

This great little cafe has been around for a while now but keeps delivering great breakfasts and lunch. It can get quite busy at lunch time with the Army crowd but their is still adequate seating and space to enjoy yourself. They have a great range of sandwiches and dishes and revolving specials. The chefs do a great job from a small kitchen and also have a number of preserves and jars to choose from to take home.

This cafe has recently opened near our place and its a great little spot for a tasty breaky or lunch. They have a number of different options to try which are always fresh and tasty and if you like chilli you can certainly get something to knock your socks off! They have a section where you can build your own breaky or add on to their existing offers. I am looking forward to also trying their new space that they have opened next door which is open for dinner most nights.

We have visited this little cafe a couple of times and it has been great every time. The food is fresh and tasty and always delivered quickly. They have a great little area to keep the kids entertained whilst you are having your breakfast or lunch. I highly recommend the breakfast nachos as its a different breakfast that is tasty and fresh and the burger was great for lunch. Highly recommend as the food is good and service friendly.

I visited this establishment with my wife and two children for a friend's birthday as it was near his place and promoted as a child friendly pub with a kids play ground and kids room. We were extremely disappointed in regards to how we and our children were treated, the manager came and complained and asked us to tell the children to stop squealing, when they were in the playground! I'm sorry but what do children do in playgrounds? They play and chase each other and yell out squeals of delight. There was no one else around us just our party of over 10 that expanded to around 20 which was almost as many people that were dining in the pub. We were again asked to quieten our children down this time when I promised my daughter and son's friend ice cream because they were excited about getting ice cream. There was approximately 6 people in our vicinity who didn't seem concerned in the slightest. The only person annoyed was the manager who seemed to have a problem with children. To top it off the food service was below average with meals being forgotten, incorrect or delivered late. The quality of the food was also below average even of what is expected of a pub with the only redeeming feature being the price. I certainly wouldn't go here again even with the good facilities of the playground and kids area unless a different manager is on who doesn't mind children.
