Had an office Christmas lunch at this place. The food was good. I had a piece of steak and it was very tasty. Others had seafood and they all said it was fresh and well prepared. The dessert serving was quite small. The one setback was although there were not many customers, it took a very long time before we got our food. However, it was quite good value for money.
Approximate cost: $70
The coffee and cakes were good but when I went back for lunch with a 10 others, I was rather disappointed. The service was slow and the food was not up to standard for a few of us and the food was rather expensive too.
This little restaurant can seat 40 guests and it is not very well known. However, the food here is delicious. I highly recommend the roast duck as it is always meaty, succulent and tasty. The service is very good and the price very reasonable. Bookings are recommended if you want to be assured of a table.
A great place to get good Japanese take away. The service is good and the food is tasty. There is also a good variety to choose from and the food is freshly prepared. Although it is take away food, the presentation is very good.
This is a fairly new restaurant. The decor is pleasant and the service good. I recommend the beef or chicken with rice noodles and soup. Unlike some Vietnamese restaurants, the rice noodles here are fresh and the soup is very flavorsome. The servings are big too.
This place sells a great variety of inexpensive food similar to food sold in hawker centers in Malaysia and Singapore. Chicken rice, BBQ-pork rice, fried and soup noodles, "nasi lemak" and "lobak" are popular dishes. Special aerated tea ("teh tarik") and Asian desserts are available. This is one of the few places where one can get a big variety of dishes under the same roof. The service is good.
I find the Vietnamese noodles and rice dishes here very tasty and not pricey. The broken rice dish is my favourite and I highly recommend it. You won't go wrong if you stick to the Vietnamese dishes. This place is packed during the weekends.
Had a birthday party with family members. The service was excellent. The steak and desserts were great. One steak order was cooked incorrectly but the chef was happy to replace it. With the entertainment cards, it was really great value for money.
Disappointing as the fish and chips are not what they used to be. The chips, in particular, are soggy. The seafood in seafood platter is also of poor quality. They are definitely not good value for money. The only plus point is the location, with a good view of the ocean.
A great place for delicious pastries and cakes. The mini-danishes and croissants filled with custards, creams and fruits or coated with almond slivers as well as chocolate eclairs are great treats. Also available are skinny and crusty parisienne loaves filled with smoked salmon, ham and cheese or chicken and avocado which are ideal for lunch.
