These guys sure know how to cook up fish & chips. You'll be hard pressed to find better in the local area. The fish was battered perfectly, nice and crispy and not too doughty, not too oily and the chips were sensational.

Price wise they're pretty much the same as any other local fish & chip shop. The proprietors are friendly enough without being anything out of the ordinary. But the quality of the food is what made it worth going back again.

They also sell a variety of snack and grocery lines.

I have not dined in at this venue, only used them for take-away and found it to be worth going back to.

While they won't compete with your Annapurna's and the like, they offer a good quality Sri Lankan or Indian curry that is pretty easy to go in and pick up. They also dabble in some products you'd often find in your local fish & chippery.

I've used Ritz for regular maintaining of my suits for a while now. Both cleaning and alterations are always handled quickly, professionally and on the odd occasion when I've needed something in a hurry they've been happy to oblige.

I've dined here a couple of times in recent months, the most recent being a lunch session one Saurday. The place was pretty quiet which enabled the waitress to give us plenty of personal attention (though she did seem a wee bit vague at times).

The meals that came out were huge. Certainly exceptional value for money and I couldn't fault the quality of the food either.

We dined here tonight and were pleasantly surprised. The food was good quality (though my brother suggested his Roast Pork was a little bit dry, my father in law loved it).

I went for the Chilli & Garlic Scallops - Highly recommended, but only if you don't mind a little bit of bite. Probably a bit too much chilli for some (I loved it).

The ambiance was a bit poor - accoustics made it hard to have a conversation due to noise from other tables.

Approximate cost: $15-$25 depending on what you like

I've banked with Rabo for quite some time now and have found their high interest online savings product to be top shelf in a market that is fast becoming saturated with options.

I love the little security device you need to access your account details, and their interest rates are generally among the highest in the market.

Approximate cost: $Deposit as little as $1 to get you started

The guys at Coventry did our LPG conversion last year. Despite a reasonable waiting list (I guess high petrol prices will do that) we were able to get in within a reasonable time frame.

The workmanship was excellent, a courtesy vehicle was provided for the couple of days they had the car, and Will was very helpful when it came to claiming the government LPG conversion rebate as well.

Talk about chalk and cheese. We ended up at Appleby Cycles after being shunned by one of their competitors (see my rating for Tassie Cycles) and we're VERY glad we did.

Not only did we manage to find a bike within our budget (by no means a large budget either) but for less than we had originally anticipated spending elsewhere, we managed to get the bike, a helmet, a lock and even a drink bottle holder.

The young man who attended us was ultra professional - despite the fact it looked like he was about to head off and have some lunch when he spotted us he gave us his full attention and treated us, the customers, as the priority. His willingness to do a deal was also a credit to the young man.

The store itself is well laid out with 2 floors of bikes and accessories.

Approximate cost: $250+

Whilst WOMOW is designed to hear experiences from a business' paying customers, it was the service (or lack of it) that stopped me from actually buying here and going to their competitor (see my rating for Appleby Cycles).

First impressions of the store was that it was way too cluttered. It was near impossible to actually get to a bike you might be interested in let alone be able to get it to a position in the store where you could sit on it, get a feel for it, and generally see if it will suit you.

That aside, we looked around and were seeing a few things, so we asked the question of the staff (presumably the owners) about being able to negotiate on price a little for a cash sale. The response was yes, of course, until it came time to actually do the negotiating.

After being told she wouldn't negotiate on the ticket price of the bike we were most interested in, we asked what she had that should WOULD negotiate on for around the same money. She then proceeded to quote ticket prices to us. HELLO!!! WE CAN READ!!!!

After the unwillingness to follow through on her claim to be happy to bargain we decided our money would be better spent elsewhere.

Approximate cost: $300+

This review is for Otway Fly Tree Top Walk, Weeaproinah VIC

verified email - 27 Mar 2009

Another of the many excellent tourist attractions along Victoria's Great Ocean Road drive. The venue has a nice walk from the main reception/cafe to the actual Otway Fly structure where you walk among the treetops (up to 47 metres high).

The views are spectacular and make for some great scenic photos. The cost is aimed squarely at the tourist market, so it's not the cheapest thing you will see or do on the trip, but worthwhile.

The walk back is a little steep and tiring if you're unfit, but for the elderly or handicapped, a shuttle bus runs regularly.
