Not the best experience, the smell of the toilets permeated out to the party room, the party ‘host’ was so slow that we had to serve the food and drinks as he was nowhere to be seen, he seemed very young and tried his best, but if I was hosting the party I would have been extremely dissatisfied. The adult food that was overcooked and looked less than appetizing. The place looks very run down and could do with a clean, the tables were gross and sticky! Would not recommend!

Good play area for most ages with a variety of play equipment. Friendly staff and good selection of snacks. Reasonable prices also

This playcentre is great fun for the children and very popular. Lots of play areas including a central round, car driving facility for the children (supervised by staff of course and enclosed). My daughter often asks me to go there because of the car driving availability. Great cafe menu, they even make pizzas at an affordable price and so good! They also have a rewards program where you get 5 dollars to spend for every 100 you spend at the centre. Strongly recommend!

Great place, the play areas were innovative and great fun for the kids. My daughter loved the car rides! The staff was very attentive following up on kids entering areas not for their age and apprpriately helping them play in their age designed area. The menu was amazing with woodfire pizza that was tasting amazing. Parking was great too. Good prices and great rewards program too. Strongly recommend!

Had a bad experience here about a year ago, it was my first and definitely last time. I had two kids under 4 and felt the place was dirty, understaffed, poorly managed and the equipment was run down. There were older kids (aged 10+) that played rough in the toddler area and the staff either didn't see it or didn't care. They should have had a fenced off area for the toddler area so that the older kids can't terrorise the little ones with them crashing around on the equipment or throwing balls at high speed.

It was such a bad experience that I couldn't wait to leave.

I totally agree. It's very grubby. There were only about 10 kids there and the staff were just Hanging around while the bigger kids were jumping in and out of he toddler area. We stopped going.

my children love to come here for a play. not great organisation and staff look like they would rather be somewhere else but the kids love it and thats the main thing.

We used to come here alot and it was well run and quite amazing. Our latest experience here wasn't so great. We attended a birthday party and everything was so disorganised. There clearly weren't enough staff on for the day and our coffees that we ordered arrived after most of the mums went home.

Thanks for your review, all feedback is really appreciated. In regards to your feedback on us being under staffed when you were there, sometimes this happens from time to time when staff do call in sick, which is an inevitable occurance. 99% customers do understand this dilema, and realise it is not an every day occurance, and the staff that are there work extra hard to bring everything together.

My older kids like the centre, but what irks me is I have to pay to supervise my own children. Why are parents not free? Also, I wouldn't take kids under three there as there's really nothing for them to do - they get bored with the toddler area and want to try the equipment for the older kids and you spend your time wrenching them off it.
Also, should one of your kids get into trouble and you have to climb up and get them, it takes forever as an adult to climb through the child-sized openings. There really should be better access for adults.
Birthday parties are over-priced, and quite stingy - e.g. price includes tea and coffee (tea bag and instant) for one or two parents - give me a break!

I had a fantastic day at Lollipops today with my kids! I came in last Wednesday and was not impressed at all with the staff working that day, most of them were teenagers who would rather be anywhere else! I was disappointed right from the start as the lovely lady, Donna, who usually works on Wednesday was on holidays :( However today she was back and working with a cheerful young lady, no older than 18, who at my request informed me her name is Maddy. Donna and Maddy are by far the happiest and most polite staff in the center. Donna, who I have met on several occasion through out the year on weekdays is always ready to take part in a friendly conversation. She brought out my food so fast today I half thought she must have had it ready for me before I even ordered! Donna is always lovely, and I am not at all surprised by her attitude to work today. But I was very surprised by Maddy (after my experience with the other teenage staff!). She is the first staff member I have seen SMILING while running the car ride! She would go to the effort to high-five all the children as they went past in the cars, occasionally pulling her hand away as a quick joke. She also helped my little six year old boy, who has a mild intellectual disability, in and out of his car. He was dribbling down his shirt and talking repetitively in a very autistic manner, and she was not at all put off by this! She just smiled and helped him like she would any other child - not a reaction I at all expected from a teenager, not even a look of disgust when some of his saliva got on her hand! If her positive attitude wasn't enough, Maddy also made my latte for me at the cafe. I was a little bit hesitant when I saw she was making it....(not many coffee's I've had made for me by teenagers have been very good!) but her coffee was just fabulous, perfect temperature and texture....better than some coffee shops I've been to! The only complain I have is there is a lot of dust up in the play frame, which really needs to be seen to by management, it was also quite unpleasant to here the staff member who came in a 4pm complaining to Donna about other staff members at the cafe, it is incredibly unprofessional and rude. I had a lovely day today at Lollipops! It's not the center that's the problem....it's particular members of staff - some of them are wonderful (I'm sure these two aren't the only ones!). But some of them are just plan rude and thoughtless. Thanks for a great day ladies!

Approximate cost: $20

Thank you very much for your review - I have passed on the feedback to Donna & Maddy, and I am sure they will appreciate your comments, as they both work very hard & are assets to our business. In regards to the other staff, your comments are taken on board, and hopefully they read this and take note!.

"The only complain I have is there is a lot of dust up in the play frame, which really needs to be seen to by management..."

This is STILL an issue at this Bentleigh East venue. So much so that I do not want to have my son's birthday party here. Someone really needs to get in there with a vacuum & a rag & spray n wipe.
