We needed built in bookshelves with cupboards underneath for a home office. (Corner unit along 2 walls, 4.5m and 3.5m). We visited a number of local businesses, got a range of views and prices. Just wished we'd started with Almara first! Would have saved us a lot of time.
Trevor (sales) was really helpful and we went to the factory to look at their display. That let us narrow down exactly what we wanted. Being a corner unit we needed to allow for the dead space (where bookshelves met) and still line up the vertical supports with the cupboard doors below. We also had an air con wall unit to work around. Their production staff came up with a great design which works well and we're really happy with.
All along the process Almara were great to deal with. All parts of the business, sales, design, installers, office, were all great communicators, informative and very helpful. We got a separate company to paint the unit and Almara helped by sending them a benchtop sample so they could exactly match the paint colour. They just go that extra mile for you.
We're so happy with the finished product, it's completely transformed the room, and would absolutely use them again.
I think when you receive a great service from a business you should help them out by writing a review and also help out people looking for the service. Look no further, you've found them! Interestingly Almara were also the best-priced quote we received, but we haven't compromised on quality.

We needed to retrofit insect screens to sliding doors. I wanted something neat and unobtrusive that preferably fit within the existing door frame. Most companies wanted to fit a large frame around the existing doors so they could install their screens. Yuk. Doorite were the only company to say, yep, we can fit screens within the existing frame. Yay!
They are great - they colour-matched the existing frame and the screens look like they're part of the original doors, not a retrofit. We can now get a breeze through, and I'm really very happy with the purchase. Well priced, too.
Before ordering I did go down to the factory where the staff were really helpful and had everything on display. Everyone at Doorite was lovely - from the sales staff, factory staff and installers. Very happy to recommend this local business.

We've been going here every week for years. Great service and very helpful and friendly staff.
Excellent range of meats, especially like the already marinated meat which make entertaining much easier!

We have been here a few times now, and it is excellent value for money.

We have been here 2 or 3 times now, the last being last weekend. I wouldn't go there with small children as the service is very slow. (They seem to prioritise customers with take-away orders over those who wait (and wait) in the restaurant.
For what we paid, I would have expected better food. It had a really greasy aftertaste.
We have probably tried this place about once a year (each time going back in hope that as our local Chinese it would have gotten better), but have always come away disappointed.
It's not as if there's a shortage of Chinese restaurants in the area!
We won't be back.

I love this shop. I have small children and you can always pick up a quality, reasonably-priced book for a child's birthday present quickly and easily.

The lady who works there is so friendly and helpful - for example, this morning I needed a book for a six-year old girl who loves horses. I called ahead and they said they had suitable books. After arriving, the lady who works in the shop showed me a number of options, knew a lot about each book, and then gift-wrapped my choice. They even have birthday cards, so all done in one go.

I'm a working mum with three small children, so to be able to park around the back, make a quick and well-priced purchase, and be on my way is fantastic.

I've tried the discount book shops at Southland and (God forbid!) Chadstone, but I wind up spending about the same money, far more time than I have, and sometimes I can't find anything suitable.

Give me quality, local shops any day.

Food was lovely, well presented and great value. Service was prompt and friendly. We'll be back.

My older kids like the centre, but what irks me is I have to pay to supervise my own children. Why are parents not free? Also, I wouldn't take kids under three there as there's really nothing for them to do - they get bored with the toddler area and want to try the equipment for the older kids and you spend your time wrenching them off it.
Also, should one of your kids get into trouble and you have to climb up and get them, it takes forever as an adult to climb through the child-sized openings. There really should be better access for adults.
Birthday parties are over-priced, and quite stingy - e.g. price includes tea and coffee (tea bag and instant) for one or two parents - give me a break!

I needed transfers to and from Sydney airport with three small children. I looked at a number of hire car websites, and Town Cars was the best value for money. Being able to find out the price online was a bonus.
The drivers (Ron and Craig) were lovely, arrived early (which was good so I had time to make sure the car seat straps were at the right height for the kids) and made the experience really easy.
The bookings staff were also very helpful, especially when I needed to make changes to he booking.
Will definitely use them again, and have recommended them to family members who regularly travel to the airport.

The main reason I keep coming back here is for the consistently excellent service I receive. I have three small children and going shopping with them can be challenging. Shoe shopping would have to be the worst! I have now been going here for three or four years, and on each occasion I have had friendly and knowledgeable shop assistants take the time to fit the children's shoes correctly. They understand small children and how best to help me get their shoes sorted out and get us on our way!
The shoes are good quality and last the distance.
Am very happy to recommend this shop for children's shoes.
My kids especially like the "lucky dip" at the cash register.
