This is definitely the best milk tea I've tasted! I love the milk foam idea -- luckily I had a friend with me who taught me how to drink it -- either milk alone (by lifting the lid), tea alone (suck through the straw), or shake it and drink 'milk tea'! You can actually taste the fragrance of the tea and taste the sweetness and creaminess of the milk, unlike most other milk tea which just tastes artificial. We did have to wait almost 10mins for the drink even though it was early in the morning and supposedly less people, service efficiency can be improved.

Went there on a friday night with some friends, we tried to book but they said they only take booking for large groups so we just rocked up on the night. Took a while to work out which counter to order at for the main meals, and all the staff were dressed so casually it was hard to pick out who was staff and who was customer waiting to be served!

The place was packed so we had to sit outside, which was pretty cold and dark. I tried the pork with vegetables - the pork serving size looked small, but turned out to be quite filling. The pork got cold very quickly as we were sitting outside so didn't taste so nice; the grilled vegetables on the other hand were sublime!!! It was grilled to a point where it's juicy and soft, and seasoned with just the right amount of salt, and was nice and hot when it was served.

We went upstairs to have a sneek peek and it looked very cool -- as it used to be a Queenslander they kept the rooms layout and had djs and ppl just chilling and hanging around.

Cool place to wind down after work, but if you wanna get proper dinner and chat to friends don't come on Friday nights as it does get very busy.

Approximate cost: $15-$30

A friend's friend of mine who is a dentist didn't recommend this place, but I needed to have my dental check and clean and after ringing around this place is by far the cheapest. Also a family friend said they have been there and didn't have any problems with it, so i decided to give it a try.

I rang one morning for a quote, and decide to ring for an appointment in the afternoon, however, no matter how many times i tried, no receptionist picked up. So I rang the next morning and was able to book a 9am appointment for the following week.

When I turned up on the dot at 9am the practice still wasn't open, waited for about 3 minutes for the receptionist/dental assistant to open up.

The dentist cleaned my teeth for roughly 25 minutes, and 90% of the time there was no assistant to help, but surprisingly I didn't find it a problem as he just had this pipe hooked on the corner of my mouth to suck up the excess saliva. It appears the dental assistant is also the receptionist which explains why no one picked up the phone when I called one afternoon.

Check and clean with fluoride (no x-ray) only $135, most places quoted about $200. So if you're looking for a cheap alternative this is worth a try.

My friend recommended lunch specials at this place, so we went for lunch on a saturday, only to find out that their lunch specials are only available on weekdays, so we just have to order from the menu, which looked quite pricy compared to most other asian places. We ordered several dish to share, food were authentic (according to my friend, cos I'm not sure what authentic korean is supposed to taste like). The restaurant is quite big, and cos many people order hot pots and sizzling dishes, the place can be a bit 'smelly'.

Very nice decor, waiters all very professional. We tried the Peking duck obviously as it was their specialty. Was very surprised that the duck meat was given to us to wrap and the second course was just plain soup! Normally the skin is used to make the wrap and the meat used to make a second course such as fried rice wrapped in lettuce or fried noodle. So duck wasn't great value, skin is crispy but meat a bit tasteless.
Other dishes we ordered were tofu and steamed barramundi, both cooked well but nothing outstanding.

My friend took me to this place for a casual dinner. When we arrived there was a short queue, which grew longer very quickly. I ordered flat rice noodle with sweet sauce and chicken. Food is good, nothing spectacular though. Price is fair. To me it's just another Asian cafe style dining place.

This is one of the wineries we visited while driving around the mornington peninsula area. We were greeted by a friendly old couple, and sampled several wines. All the wines were around $25 to $35. The estate had a real homy and pleasant feel. They don't always serve lunch/dinner, sometimes just cheese and crackers with wine tasting so call ahead if you are planning to dine there.

We went past this bakery on a Sunday morning when everything else was still closed. The aroma of fresh bread prompted us to go in to have a browse. There's many different type of bread products, a fusion between western and Asian bread, unlike breadtop which are mostly Japanese inspired.

The staff walked over with a plate of Swiss rolls for us to sample, and when we paid for our bread, they chucked in a freebie in there as well!!!! Great service!!

This place offers traditional Hong Kong style street snacks which are hard to find in austrlia. i had the egg waffle, flavour is good but too soggy. The concept is good but overall quality can be better, still a fair way to go to matching the authentic Hong Kong flavour.

We had lunch here on a sunny Sunday winter afternoon. The restaurant had a very lovely ambience. I ordered cod for the main and it was absolutely devine! Great flavours, food were fresh and just a very nice meal. Service was good, waiter tried to be funny and talk to everyone at the table.

We went for a walk around the gardens after lunch (it said you had ot pay $5 entry for the gardens if you are not a hotle/restaurant guest), which had spectacular views and were well maintained. They had a water feature and the place would really make a perfect wedding venue. Would definitely recommend this place if you're on holidays in the morning peninsula area.
