We came here on a sunday of the Queen's birthday long weekend, hoping to have lunch here. However, there were busloads of pre-booked tourists and we were told the restaurant was fully booked. Nontheless we sampled their wine and bought 2 bottles. Apparently this is the biggest winery in the morning peninsula area, so it does look quite 'commercial'.

Never been to a maze like this before! the corridor in the shrub maze was quite narrow though, even though I am already quite small in stature. THe north and south maze were definitely a challenge, the rose and lavender one easier. Maybe cos it's winter the roses garden looked a bit messy. I think there's more activities for kids but still worth a visit for adults.

Approximate cost: $18.5 per adult

Came here for brunch on Queens birthday with friends. Had to wait about 15mins for a table. I don't like eating French type bread as I always thought its too hard and chewy, so I ordered the croque Madame as it was the only one without it. I m so glad I ordered it as it was mouth watering delicious!!!!!!! It has 2 slices of homemade toast with ham hock sandwich between, fried egg on top with a potato salad. Every element was cooked to perfection. Hot chocolate was surprisingly yummy too, they give u a jug to pour over what appeared to be cream and sugar coated nuts. A little pricy though with most of the brunch priced around $20, but for the food served it is worth it. Just remember to bring cash as it is CASH ONLY.

Approximate cost: $20

My friend took us here for afternoon tea, waited about15mins for a table. Very nice decor, tempting cakes at the window. Cake are $9 a piece. We all enjoyed it very much, wasn't too sweet and very nicely presented. We tried their teas too and it was very nice. Be early if u want the cake u want cos my friend saw one she liked but by the time we got our table and ordered they said it was sold out. They hav proper mains too, would like to try that sometime.

I've tried several their burgers, including the wagyu, okonomiyaki, ginger pork and cheeseburger. Ingredients are fresh, and you can see the staff working behind the glass. All the burgers are tasty, but small in portion for the price that they charge. I am not a big eater but just having 1 burger (not as a meal) is not satisfying enough for lunch.

Dropped by here for a snack on a sunday morning - ordered the $4 fish burrito to be told there's no fish on weekends (?????), so I changed to the pork one. Tasted ok, presentation looked good, portion quite small.

My brother took me and my parents to fasta pasta as he has been here before and thought it was good value and quality. We came here for dinner, and the restaurant was very roomy, modern and clean. We chose our seats next to the window which was very pleasant and comfortable. We ordered 1 large pizza and 2 large pastas to share between us. I thought the Papidelle and fettucine was slighly under cooked, but the flavours were good. The seafood pizza was the best --- it had huge prawns, squid and you can see the cheese melting and oozing all over the pizza --- just looking at it would make you drool! Just one thing - they were a bit slow to serve our food (we saw others came in later than us but got their food before us) and the dishes wasn't stove hot when it was served. Overall a great experience though and we would definitely be back!

Approximate cost: $12-$20

This is a relatively new place in Sunnybank which sells asian meat jerky. My friend and I tried the pork bbq jerky - the staff reheated it just before giving it to us - it was very soft and tasty!!!! But once it turn cold, it goes chewy and hard (which is expected of jerkies) and no where near as good as it was when it was hot. I look forward to trying their other snacks, like pizzas and 'mini burgers'.

I don't usually go to this side of the town but a friend wanted to try this place as it was highly recommende by a friend a group of us decided to meet there. I cannot stand any spicy food so I was prepared that my menu choices were limited - at the end i decided to go for sweet and sour pork. 2 of my friends were game enough to try the 6chillie supper hot Aussie cry!

I was expecting a chinese style boring sweet and sour pork - but i actually got what I believe to be an authentic thai style version, which tasted extremely refreshing -- it tasted very light (where as the chinese style is usually very heavy) but still had the sweet and sour flavour to it. I was pleasantly surprised!! My friends (who had difficulty finishin the Aussie cry cos it was sooooo spicy) tried my dish and thought the same.

Overall, i think it's one of the best Thai restaurants around in brisbane

I have been here several times as I have a friend who is muslim and only eats halal food. The place have a very nice ambience and unique furnishings. Overall flavour of the food are good and consistent, never too salty or overpowering. Food is served quite promptly and they never mixed up the orders even though we had a large group at the table several times.

Approximate cost: $25-30
