Came across this on a late afternoon and decided to try it for a snack. The shop is very bright and welcoming, looks sleek and clean with a cute logo. Dumplings are a bit pricy though; $2-$2.50 for 1 dumpling or $11-$12 for 6. Their siu mai is a average, but the prawn dumplings and buns are quite nice. Free self-serve sauces available. I love how they have a man-made lawn outside - makes the place looks really relaxing and cosy for an 'outdoor yum cha experience'.

Had brunch here with some friends on the weekend. A good choice of brunch, ranging from really simple budget options like rasin toasts to fancier menu items like chocolate French toast and potato rosti. For "the little breakfast", which had 2eggs, 2 bacons and one small slice of toast, the bacon was slightly too salty and the toast was really quite small in size; the chocolate French toast on the other hand was nicely presented, good serving size and has nice flavour without being too sweet.

I had a kebab craving the other day, and I got a kebab from this place - I had the one with the mixed meat (chicken, lamb and beef) with barbecue sauce plus pineapple. This is the first time I had mixed meat kebab, I usually order just chicken or just beef, but thought I'd give this a go. Overall I think the sauce and meat combined were a bit too salty; and next time I would stay with just one meat as my tastebuds were getting confused with all the different meat :P

The security screens in our 3 bedrooms were getting old and needed to be replace. I phoned around for quotes and found this to be cheapest. When they installed the screens they tried to charge a bit more than the quote saying the windows were larger than they were expecting, but I insisted sticking with the original quote and they said ok. They cleaned up everything after installation which was good. $400 spent all up, not too bad.

I heard that this Chinese takeaway is owned by the same owner of Market Square's Coffee Square; so it's no surprising to spot similarities in the menu. I've tried their wonton soup, baked rice and fried noddle with char siu. Portion size is decent, thought I was expecting even larger serving, I love the baked rice as most other cafes don't have it, and it's served in a aluminium tray which I prefer over the other plastic trays. All dishes have a good balance of meat veg and carbs and makes a good meal. Flavour is good, not too salty, and I am pretty sure I couldn't taste msg in it. Their corn soup is also nice --- good texture and well seasoned. Their sides menu looks a bit over priced though, so I havn't tried any of their sides.

Approximate cost: $8.9-$11.9

A few days ago my friend wanted to get takeaway for afternoon tea, so I decided to grab some food as well. I got a $10 afternoon tea meal deal which includes a can of soft drink and a beef ho fan noodle. I waited no more than 10mins for the order. While I waited for my takeaway I read their menu and found most dishes were noticeably more expensive than other Asian places I go to. Anyhow my beef hofan was hot and well seasoned! I guess their afternoon tea special is reasonably priced but I am not tempted to try this place for lunch after reading their menu!

This is my first time to this salon; I'm always 'shopping' around for hairdressers as my hair is difficult to manage and to be honest, I havn't yet found a good consistent salon that I want to return to, so I would just try any place I could find!

The girl was very nice, although her English was not very good. I said I wanted a cut and blowdry; and as my hair is very thick I requested to be as thin and light as possible. She spent a fair bit of time and care in her hair cut; and yes she did manage a very thin and light cut, but after I shampoo my hair at home and let it dry naturally I realise the shape of the overall cut was quite poor, so I was rather disappointed.

I guess if you have easy to manage hair and just want a trim then this place is still good. They do take time and not rush the cut and the overall shop is nice to sit in.

My friends and I bought a scoopon voucher. We chose the 3 course meal (entrée, main and dessert). The half a dozen oyster for entrée was average fresh. The main, reef and surf, had a selection of seafood - one mussel, one scallop, one calamari grilled bug and prawn, served with garlic cream sauce with rice and chips. The garlic sauce was very nice, all the seafood were cooked nicely, the calamari was soft and tender, not chewy. I would've preferred more vegetables and less carbs (rice and chips is a lot of carbs!), but the chips were nicely fried as well.

The baklava dessert was disappointing, it was cold and hard and half of the ice cream had melted by the time it was served. The mud cake was better.

While we were there there was a few tables celebrating birthdays, when the cake was brought out all the staff gather to sing happy birthday very enthusiastically - a very commendable effort!!!

I checked the menu prices --- everything was very reasonably priced, considering that they actually cook the seafood properly (not serve it fried or just cold boiled seafood). Worth coming back for lunch/dinner!

Very fast service - food were served very quickly. All noodles served nice and hot, and the noodles were cooked just right. Their Laksa is a standout. Would definitely return.

Came here on a Friday night after 8:30pm and was packed full of people, had to wait about 10 minutes for a table for 4. Food was okay; the Nasi Goreng was very strange - they added potatoes to it (?). Most dishes around $15 Large portion size.
