My local GP referred me to the Melbourne Institute Of Plastic Surgery for the removal of facial and body moles. The removal was performed under local anesthetic as a day procedure and I was very happy with the end results. Any scars/marks on the face are now barely noticeable. Paid a fixed priced no matter how many moles/spots I wanted removed. Highly recommended.
Quite pricey compared to the actual quality of the food on offer. It used to be about worth the value but after the price increases not anymore. The japanese section if pretty bad..but thats because I prefer to eat authentic japanese food rather than some raw fish chucked onto some rice. Worth to pay a bit more and go to the buffet at Langhams, Conservatory and the like.
I have eaten here many times over the years as they are nearby. Each time the food is of a decent standard. The crispy skin roast pork can sometimes be 'hit and miss' though...i.e way too much fat. Prices are very reasonable too and the food comes out pretty quick,
The roast duck here is one of the best in the Melbourne CBD. Really meaty and flavoursome. If you're after a quick and easy meal that doesn't cost you a lot then this place is ideal. If you're after a place where you can relax and have a chat then this is not for you as they will usher you out of the place as soon as you have finished your meal.
Tried the yum cha buffet today. At $22.80(weekday) for all you can eat Yum cha it is pretty well priced. The range of food is quite comprehensive. After being seated the food came pretty quickly but then there was a large time gap before the next round came. As to the flavour the food the majority tasted a bit bland/tasteless(my guess is all the dim sums are frozen and just heated up).
A regular here as it is close by. The food here is really authentic hawker style Malaysian food. I would say its better than average(but not amazing) and have been served consistently good food every time I eat here. Prices are also reasonable. The shui gow dumplings are of a high quality and the stuffed eggplant are huge(value for money!).
I'm a regular here as it is close by. My favourite would be the Tom Yum noodle soup...I really like the sourness of the soup base. In fact all the dishes I've eaten here are above average and the prices are not expensive. Another plus is that they usually give you complimentary dessert(Pulut Hitam). Highly recommended.
Decided to try this place for lunch one day. They offer a $12 lunch box which seemed quite reasonable. You get to select three types of 'dishes' that make up your lunch box - I selected a prawn salad, sashimi and deep fried chicken. For the $12 you also get unlimited miso soup and rice. The sashimi was nice and fresh and had flavour. The only complaint was they could have been a bit more generous with the chicken as there wasn't enough to finish the rice. Miso soup was ok(not overly salty..perhaps diluted).

Have been here a couple of times after work(only for drinks though). Inside is quite spacious but the highlight would be the spacious outdoor deck area with nice views(especially at night) of the State Library and Swanston Street - perfect on a summer night while enjoying a cold drink.
Decided to try the steaks here as they were in the Entertainment Book giving me 25% off. The steaks were reasonable good(not the best but OK). My Porterhouse steak was cooked pretty good(medium rare)...but the texture of the meat just didn't seem quite right. The chips were not bad(pretty much standard chips). For sauces i highly recommend the MonkeyGland sauce(which is actually a BBQ type sauce).
