I have stayed here quite a few times in different types of accommodation. The room with the swim out room is the best. Room was small but adequate. Staff are very friendly, and they have a restaurant which is reasonably priced. Book early if you want a swim out room during summer months. This is the best place to stay in the Port Stephens area.

I have stayed at this motel a few times now on route to Melbourne. Nice people, and the rooms are always clean. One of the better places to stay in Gundagai as some of the other motels are quite old.

The food is good, however not the best Thai food on the upper north shore. Atmosphere is good, plenty of seating and outdoor heaters for those chilly winter nights. I found the prices a bit expensive. Good for large groups of people wanting a meal.

This restaurant has changed hands quite a few times. Menu is good, however food can be a bit inconsistent. The staff and service have always been good.

Quite good Thai food situated near the San hospital. It is only small so wise to book if you are going for dinner. Friendly staff, and is worth a visit.

This place is good to buy frozen foods in bulk if you are having a party. They specialise in quiches, small pizzas, dim sims and other asian food. Staff are friendly. Just a small family business that is worth using when entertaining.

If you don't want to spend the big dollars at the mainstream cinemas, try Hornsby Odeon. Quite an old fashioned theatre, this will take you back to yesteryear. Good to take the kids in school holidays, and they offer a movie deal with ice cream, drinks etc.

The best deli on the northside for something very special. They stock great brands, although a little expensive well worth it. They also offer home delivery, catering and cooking classes.
