Coffee + coffee supplies, chocolate and spice is what you can find here. The coffee is very good and they always have some yummy treat to enjoy. Nice place to have a cup of tea with friends.

Also do Barrister training.

Location tip = next to curves on left hand side of Old Bathurst Rd as you head up towards the mountains.

This review is for Glenbrook Theatre (Cinema), Glenbrook NSW

This is a small family owned Cinema that is always a delight to visit.
They keep their costs low and i mean surprisingly low for a cinema by showing films a little after they are released at the major cinemas and only a limited selection of films at any time. This just means a little forward planning. I have however often waited the extra couple of weeks for a movie to come out at Glenbrook so that i can see it here. Especially Movies such a Harry Potter and Lord of the rings as they go all out dressing up and also handing out some movie related treat eg. chocolate frogs for Harry Potter. They got the local primary school to colour in fish and hung them from the roof when finding Nemo aired.
Did i mention they still have the old school red curtain that they actually open and close?

Approximate cost: $8.50-10

Meals are great! People are great! Although if you have been waiting a while dont hesitate in asking for service. They are very sweet but a bit too relaxed sometimes and wont mind a reminder that you have been waiting.
Live music is often added bonus!
Lots of vegitarian options, but also some really tasty meaty meals too. I would 100%recommend going for an evening meal as they are just so on the ball then and the cafe jst has the best atmosphere at night, so does Glenbrook. Can even organise a night out and go to the local movies after.

Approximate cost: $12-17

This review is for The Cedars Gift & Rock Shop, Katoomba NSW

You will find either the owner, his wife or mate running the shop for the day. I have found this the best permanent shop to buy beautiful and unusual geological, mineral and crystal rock samples. There is also a large range of gifts from jewelery to paperweights and bookends made from unique gems. Collectors pieces such as unpolished stromatolites specimens are a regular find in this shop.

Even if you know nothing about rocks this is just a fascinating shop to visit.
You can guarantee if you buy a gift for someone from the shop that no one will give another one like it to anyone, ever!

This review is for Cupids Cupcakes, Katoomba NSW

It's a cosy space with only enough room for two at the counter. The cupcake display is gorgeous and they sell mini and large cupcakes for a fraction of the cost you would pay in Sydney. Mini cupcakes are $1.50 each and large ones are $3.50. They also have a coffee and cupcake for $5.

The cupcakes are actually mud cakes - white and milk chocolate mud cakes prepared in cupcake wrappers and smothered in delicious frosting. Did I say delicious? I meant, divine, decadent, addictive...

Lovely place to take female family members or girlfriends out to coffee.

Approximate cost: $3.50/cupcake

yummy, yummy food. Fresh sushi but also lots of yummy other Japanese food. The service is what you would expect from a Japanese place very polite, quick and friendly. Not many tables so get in a little early around lunch time.

The gals and guys that run this coffee outlet are the best + they are very sweet. In my opinion the best coffee on campus and definitely the best service. their pies are not the best although cheap, i highly recommend any of their other food. Vegetarian option available.

Approximate cost: $2.90/coffee

The staff are lovely. Oh a tip from me once you get your coffee walk to the back of the shop to there tiny outdoor area and grab one of the cane chairs to soak up some rays. Tip from my housemate get a small coffee rather than a large (if you can resist the double shot) as the ratio od milk and coffee is much better in a small coffee and therefore tastes better! Enjoy.
