I love this little cinema. They show the best films (arthouse, foreign language and Dendy films) and it means I don't have to travel to the city to see them. You have to watch the schedule as they change films each session. Ron and his team are real movie lovers and can give you insight into the film because they see them all. They provide service with a smile. This is a homey little cinema and is really cheap. It means I can go to the pictures weekly. I can even have a cup of coffee in a real cup when I'm watching the film and a mintie on the way out for night sessions(very civilised!) I've been coming here for 20 years and will continue to see great films courtesy of Ron.

I refuse to fault the Glenbrook cinema, everytime i have ever gone here it has been a beautiful little experience. From watching plays to watching movies i have never complained.
How can you complain about a place who puts a blanket over your knees if your feeling chilly?

An excellent little theatre. I've seen many Movies at Glenbrook Cinema & have always been more than satisfied with the experience. Although I have rated the Quality 4 out of 5, this is only because of the dated furniture. It adds character, however it can be uncomfortable too. I highly recommend going and seeing a well price Movie here.

I love going to this cinema over the bigger chains. Yes there is not a huge range of movies shown at once, but I love that you can pre-book and select your preferred seats too!!! The snacks are reasonably priced and I've never had any complaints! Highly recommended!

This is a great little cinemas. They are really friendly and when we came out of the movie they were waiting to give us all a mintie and wish us a good night. They dont get all the movies and they tend to get them late but they are much cheaper than the bigger cinemas and a really great option if you are willing to wait a little longer to see movies.

glenbrook cinemas is located at the foot of the blue mountains just off the great western hwy at glenbrook. you can pre book the movie and the seat you want to sit in over the phone with is so nice and you don't have to pay over the phone to do so , just pay when you arrive for the movie. the popcorn and choc tops are so cheap too!!!!!!!!

This is a small family owned Cinema that is always a delight to visit.
They keep their costs low and i mean surprisingly low for a cinema by showing films a little after they are released at the major cinemas and only a limited selection of films at any time. This just means a little forward planning. I have however often waited the extra couple of weeks for a movie to come out at Glenbrook so that i can see it here. Especially Movies such a Harry Potter and Lord of the rings as they go all out dressing up and also handing out some movie related treat eg. chocolate frogs for Harry Potter. They got the local primary school to colour in fish and hung them from the roof when finding Nemo aired.
Did i mention they still have the old school red curtain that they actually open and close?
