We stopped here for lunch as it looked cosy and homely. The menu had some great options, and if you're a tea drinker it had the largest variety we have ever seen. The soup was delicious, a good serving size, with just enough bite to make it interesting and definitely not from a can. The basil pesto chicken salad was fresh, full of flavour, and a good serving size of chicken. The prices aren't the cheapest but it would seem it's worth paying the extra for homemade. Staff were very friendly.

There is a good variety of cheeses here, and some flavours we hadn't seen before. It was nice to see one variety had won Gold at this year's Ekka. It doesn't look like the most inviting place to stop, and everything is outdoors rather than inside in a typical shop, but the pricing is good and some of the samples we had were so divine we just had to buy the full product. Worth a look in if you haven't been before.

For a couple who don't often eat pizza and generally don't feel great after, I can't wait to return here. From the first bite of the garlic focaccia entree I was totally hooked. Full of flavour and for all the other pizzas as well, it felt like we were eating toppings on a delicious base instead of a mouthful of of pastry and not much flavour. The sticky date was up there with the best I've ever had. A great little place hidden away and really couldn't recommend it enough. Can't wait to go back!

After running out of the veggie patties for what sounded like a delicious veggie burger, we opted for the chicken burger, and grilled fish with chips. The burger was very nicely presented, good size and the sauce was delicious. Very fresh bun and ingredients. The chips were nice, not too oily, though could have had a bit more salt (that's coming from people who don't normally have any salt). The grilled fish was overlooked and tough. The outdoor seating and tables are very rundown, but you don't expect 5 star from a chip shop. The views are lovely when sitting outside on the deck, and the inside decor is quite nice. Hot drinks are good value and served steaming hot.

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay here. Being beach bums that love ocean views, we thought we might get bored, but we had a huge balcony with sun from sunrise to sunset (so ask for North facing rooms if you can), and even though it wasn't a high floor (level 4) we would be more than happy with the room again. Views over the lake and golf course we're nice and it looked down to the pool also. The room was self-contained and there is a Coles and Woolworths only a 2 minute drive away (so those who say it's in the middle of nowhere haven't done their homework). The resort is lovely around the pool and dining areas, and though the restaurant can't be open all the time, the website clearly states when it is open, so again just do your homework before complaining. Staff were very friendly. Happy to return again!

We enjoyed a continental breakfast and then a buffet breakfast upgrade during our stay at the resort and really enjoyed it. The usual hot and cold options, but what really got us was the friendliness of the female staff member (whose name we wish we could remember) who was obviously fulfilling multiple roles at the time but handled it all with such a cheery attitude, so friendly. Thanks!

We have eaten here before and at other Hogsbreath, but this was the first meal that was a bit of a letdown. The vege pasta was delicious and a good size as usual, but the steak was very fatty, so much was left on the plate for that reason. We mentioned this upon paying and were given a discount accordingly which was appreciated, however as soon as we said there was an issue they said was it with the steak, so obviously we weren't the first to say something in which case we thought it should have been addressed. Also didn't appreciate the waiter asking if we wanted veges or salad with the pasta, as if it was included, and then charging us for them which we didn't expect or wouldn't have ordered them.

Very friendly service and super quick, though we were the only diners in there. The Mocktails were delicious, and both our meals very tasty. The vege polenta stack was beautifully presented and full of flavour, a surprising delight.

Stopped for a quick lunch, wanting something other than deep fried takeaway. The sandwiches all looked fresh and tasted just as good. The usual price now for a salad roll. Nice outdoor seating undercover, and very close to major shops.

Loved every single bit of every dish we tasted at the buffet lunch. Fantastic value at $12.90 per person, all you can eat. There is a great variety of hot food from Dahl to curries to noodles to pasta, and a range of salads as well. They were all cooked to perfection, plenty of flavour, and we really wish we had given this place a try a long time ago, being such regulars to the Coast.Fantastic for vegetarians or those with gluten intolerances. Highly recommend, we will be back! P.S. Try the mango lassi drink - divine!
