Dined here for a breakfast meeting and the food and drinks were delicious. You get what you pay for with the meals - seems a little pricy but good serving sizes, great taste and very friendly staff. The "Bowl of hot chocolate" is quite literally a bowl - you can drink it like soup! Definitely eat here again.

We stopped here for a late morning tea. There were quite a few customers but by no means was it flat out. We saw the sign inside for "any regular hot drink plus scones $6.95". We ordered two of these with chai lattes, only to then be told that there would be an extra $1 per drink as these were served in mugs. This didn't really make sense at all but we didn't question it. We sat outside looking over the water, which is lovely and relaxing. The cafe is in a great location. It's just a shame that it took half an hour to receive our drinks, and while Hubby was fine with his chai though saying it was a bit weak, mine was like drinking hot milk with a splash of flavouring. Not worth the initial price tag let alone an extra $1. Half way through our hot drinks our scones finally arrived - cool to touch but warming on the inside. No idea why it took so long when they were already cooked, only needed reheating and the cafe was not flat out, but on the positive side they were absolutely delicious scones, soft and fluffy, and a good size with plenty of jam and cream. The cafe has potential, but with the extra pricing and long delays without any visible reason, I would hesitate a bit before returning.

The sign out the front advertising lunch specials for $10 grabbed us as we were looking for a late lunch without a big price tag. In comparison with the whole menu, the list of lunch specials is small but still more than enough options to choose from. The wait was very quick, and the meals full of flavour. Even the vegetarian pasta - which in many places can simply taste like a bottle of tomato pasta sauce splashed over spaghetti - was full of flavour and definitely worth a repeat taste. Large restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining. Would definitely stop by again for the lunch special, but perhaps not for other meals as their prices are a little dearer. No real outside dining views. The young waiter was very friendly and helpful but the older gentleman seemed a little gruff.

Our stay was initially going to just be for two nights for a training course conducted in the on-site meeting rooms, but we decided to extend our stay for a bit of R and R, and we're glad we did. The fully-self-contained room had everything we needed, and while the resort doesn't have ocean views, it does look down over the river and most rooms look over the onsite pool and outdoor eating areas. The onsite cafe serves some great light meals for reasonable prices, and staff were all very friendly. Only a short drive or 10min walk to shops, Jupiters, tram station, etc, we would stay again.

Restaurant
We didn’t dine in the restaurant as we could dine within our room cheaper, however we have been to their buffet breakfast in the past and found it very good and excellent value.

Presentation
The outside of the resort could do with brightening up with a paint job, though inside is lovely and our room nice and modern. Seating is available within reception if you’re waiting for a taxi, etc. and there is plenty of outdoor seating by the pool or undercover. This seating looks over either the pool or the Nerang River.

We've stopped here a couple of times and have not been disappointed. The vege burgers are the best we've tasted anywhere, and today's fish burger again didn't disappoint. We were tempted by the sweet potato wedges but will save that for our next visit. Good priced hot drinks are available as well as a great range of milkshake flavours. Monday's you can also grab a hamburger (Angus beef pattie) for just $5 which is a great price.

Blown away by the expensive pricing but was really in need of something hot so decided to order an extra hot chai latte despite the ridiculous pricing of $5.50 for a regular size. A large would have cost $6.50, and they also charge 50c for Eftpos. Was disappointed when I saw them just pouring syrup flavouring into the drink, no chai powder therefore no authentic flavour or anything close to it. The outcome - a barely warm drink (you could have skulled it, it was that cool) that tasted like hot milk. Do yourself a favour and walk the 50m to McDonald's for much better pricing and flavour! Would not stop here again.

We visited this spot numerous times before it was redone, and the refurb is really lovely. A beautiful outlook whether it's inside or outside dining, and some great menu options. We stopped for some hot drinks but will definitely be back for some meals.

With beautiful grounds, a great kids playground, and quite a few shops to wander through, we really enjoyed our morning here. It's well worth a visit, though we would warn that you need to have patience when waiting for your food or drinks from the cafe - it took quite a while just for a tea and scones, and they definitely need to improve on this. Otherwise, the ginger scones were fantastic, and the flavoured ginger beer was delicious, though pricier than we would expect buying direct from the source. Would make a great place for a kids party.
