This review is for Doughboy Pizza, Bondi NSW

Ever have one of those days when you just want something so yummy that that you know its bad for you but its totally worth the many hours you're going to have to spend working it off?

Order from Doughboys that day! Order whatever pizza you like but make sure you add the Garlic and Cheese bread. Its soooo yummy, a real guilty pleasure, not for every night, you'll know what i mean when you see the oil in the bottom of the box, but to worth it.

The service is great and the everything is super yummy, a little on the exie side but you're paying for quality.

Paddington Markets are really lovely. The school where its held is beautiful and its lovely to wander in amongst the stalls.

The stalls tend to be very designer and this can mean that the prices are on the higher end of the scale but seeing as the majority of the products are hand made it feels reasonable.

This review is for Carl Elliott & Co, Bardwell Park NSW

I have Carl Elliott do my personal tax and the tax for my business.
The whole team there is thorough and has fantastic knowledge.
I have never met people with such fantastic memories, i don't see them from one year to the next and they remember my name and my hubbies and all sorts of things you wouldn't bother putting in a file.
The office isn't flash but they do a great job and are reasonably priced.

This review is for Tradies, Gymea NSW

You know how when places are run down and a bit old and daggy they have a great atmosphere and then they get made over and they loose all that and start to think that they are something special and the prices go up and all the shreds of what was good is lost forever. Thats the Tradies.
Honestly they lost me about 3 makeovers ago. I go back every few years in the hope that they may have gone back to what they were but sadly no.

This review is for Flying Fajita Sisters, Glebe NSW

One of the things that Sydney doesn't do very well is Mexican food. For the most part i think we are too far away and the people who own Mexican restaurants tend to be... well... not Mexican.

The Flying Fajitas are an exception to this rule. their food is always fresh and tasty, lots of flavour and not all heat and the staff are very young and cool. Its got a great atmosphere but you usually have to book as its very popular

This place is lovely to go for lunch or dinner especially in Summer. They have a lovely courtyard and balcony area and its so nice to sit outside and soak up the sunshine.

The pizza they make is also pretty amazing, try the sweets pizza, it may surprise you how nice they are.

Inside its just a pub downstairs and upstairs they have lots of little rooms, nice balcony and comfy couches, good for functions too.

This review is for Jenny Bates Hair Salon, Peakhurst NSW

verified email - 15 Sep 2012

I went to Jenny a few times and have to say that she is great cutter. If you take in a photo of the hair cut you want she will do a fantastic job of replicating it. Left to her own devices however the cuts she does tend to be a little on the older style, not badly but not really the best for young and fun if you know what i mean.

Also i had trouble with the dye they use, it just didn't cover the greys, that may have more to do with my hair than their dye but as its the only reason i colour my hair its a bit irritating. This probably has far more to do with my hair than their dye though so don't judge them on that.

This review is for Agapé Organic Restaurant & Bar, Botany NSW

verified email - 15 Sep 2012

Ok i confess i'm a bit of a greeny, we grow our own veggies, store rain water and buy organic whenever possible. For us Agape was a fantastic find.

Honestly visit their website and have a read, the philosophy behind the place is amazing.

The food is what you really want know about though right. Amazing! Beautiful flavours, unusual ingredients and knowing that its all organic makes you feel like you are doing something good.

The restaurant itself if beautiful, had to explain the style, maybe French antique mixed with rustic? Very stylish. I totally recommend the banquet menu if you have a few people, everything is amazing and saves you having to choose just one dish.

Its on the upper end price wise but 100% worth it

Approximate cost: $70

This review is for Beverly Hills Cinemas, Beverly Hills NSW

verified email - 15 Sep 2012

I have to say that this is probably one of my favourite cinemas in Sydney. "Really?!?" I hear you ask "Why?"
Well its such a simple place. Its a cinema, they have a candy bar and a few games but thats about it. Its not part of a Westfield (which i'm not a huge fan of going into), its right near some really nice cafe's and the staff are really friendly.
Also my hubby is a sound engineer and complains about most of the cinemas we go to how the sound isn't balanced from all the speaker, He is always happy to go to Beverly Hills Cinemas as they seem to keep their equipment well maintained.
And if you follow them on facebook you they have lots of great deals

If you are looking for an easy gift this is the site for you. Last Christmas i bought my sister, mother, sister in law, brother in law and husband subscriptions off this site. It was so easy and i didn't have to go near a shopping centre and they have all commented that they love getting something nice in the post each month.
Very easy to use the site and there was no problem with any delivery or transaction.

Approximate cost: $60
