This review is for Lozzies Hotdogs, Jaffles and Soup, Sydney NSW

I'm not a great cook, I'm ok, but totally not celebrity chef material. Having now eaten at Lozzies I can now say I 100% make a better toasted sandwich than Lauren Murdoch (or at least better than the caravan bearing her name in the opera house courtyard.)
Dry filling, greasy bread, tasteless and and over priced. And took about 15 min to make. And they are toasted sandwiches not Jaffles, not Jaffles shaped.
The hot dog wasnt bad but it was just a slightly fancy sausage on a roll, I guess it never pretended to be anything but that though so it met expectations.
The soup smelled very nice, should have ordered that, oops.

Oh so this in only a review for the cafe, not the museum, I love the museum but the cafe is seperate
The prices are high for what you get, it's a tourist trap I know but still it's expensive.
The good is ordinary. The sandwich I bought for my son was more bitter than cheese and the bread was headed towards stale.
The coffee was ok
The adult meal was large but didn't have much flavour and once again old bread.
I'd give it a miss

We had the early bird special for $29 per person.
All the meals were lovely
Salt and pepper squid was great. The wings were good, I'm not a fan of blue cheese sauce but the rest was good.
Steak was perfect and the salmon was lovely.
Their kids menu comes with salad which I love.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.

I feel like they have missed the point with this place.
You line up to get in so it is popular.
The servings are huge but not particularly tasty, quantity over quality. The steak is good and the pancakes are nice but not amazing
It doesn't feel particularly clean, the tables are often sticky and so is the floor.
The staff are nice and very helpful
It's a confusing concept but every time I've been there the other people I'm with seem very impressed and it's just me that thinking it's not great so maybe it's me

These guys know their coffee! If you are a coffee geek like me you will be happy.

The place is big and midweek it can seem a bit empty but it's heaving on the weekend and has a great vibe.

Update to my previous review.
New owners have taken over, the quality has gone down and the price has gone up.
Frozen veg, undercooked chips and overcooked fish
We won't be back

We took our nieces here for their birthday and it was fantastic!!!

The staff were lovely. The food was brilliant and the girls thought that food being thrown at them was the funniest thing that could ever happen.

We will be back there again soon

Fantastic food, the staff are amazing and the service is fast.

Garlic Fish is a must

The resteraunt is beautiful with lots of beautiful artwork

The giant statue of Optimus Prime in near the door will keep little ones (one some bigger ones) hypnotised for a while but it's not idea for kids.
