My experience with tiny tutus has been nothing short of amazing. The girl who assisted me with enrolment was so helpful every step of the way. My daughter loves the class and asks when she is going every day.

I love my Tiny Tutus class, we are lucky we are in Charlestown where the head office is and my kids get so much love, we had to cancel when unwell and the process was so easy, I hear the staff when classes are on and they are so loving and genuinely care for their families its so nice to see.

They charge you $20 if you don’t want to enrol for next term!!! Isn’t it silly?

Keep changing teacher and don’t correct what the child does wrong

I absolutely loved being a part of my daughters magical ballet experience with Tiny Tutus. If we ever missed a class there was always a ‘make up’ class offered. Miss Tarni-Lee would always welcome us with a beautiful smile and if she ever missed a class Miss Janelle would fill in. The Recital was simply amazing. Such hard work was put it and it showed. Not to mention the stunning costumes. Thank you Tiny Tutus, we look forward to another year of twirling with you. Approximate cost for the year including Recital and Daddy Daughter Dance with costume provided.

Our 2 year old daughter has been going to the local Tiny Tutus class for a year now. She loves the ballet but as parents we have experienced issues with the management and have found the cost to be more expensive compared with similar providers in our area. We will be trying a new school next year.

I have NEVER come across such an UNETHICAL company. SO expensive and so many hidden fees and charges. I am due to have another baby and have had a lot of complications so have had to cancel. I rang well in advance and requested cancellation and was told I needed to email my request in writing. I asked for the email address and she told me to find it on the website. I emailed and gave EXACTLY four weeks notice of cancellation which should be plenty for toddlers ballet. I received an email back stating that I was ONE DAY too late to cancel for the following term and I would be charged in full AS WELL AS a $20 cancellation fee plus the recital fees which my daughter could not attend anyway. The staff were extremely rude and even hung up on me when I questioned them. I beg you not to use Tiny Tutus. Go with a ballet school which actually had ethics and cares for their customers.

Omg - I had almost the exact same experience last month. I emailed to advise we would be cancelling as my daughter will no longer participate and we spend all of last term on the side while she screamed or cried. This was well before 4 weeks notice was due for the following term - was told that I would still need to pay the recital fees and to email a different email address instead to notify. This email was sent while I was overseas for 4 weeks and did not see it in time. By the time I returned I had missed the cut off and was demanded I still pay the full term's fees AND recital fee. I had only wanted to stop classes for 6 months until my daughter matured but now I will never send her back. Thoughtless, insensitive and unprofessional bunch. Biggest money making pit ever - they don't care about the children's wellbeing at all! Do not send your child here - find another ballet school

I've had a similar experience with TINY TUTU TOWNSVILLE The most unorganised, horrible, unethical ran business I have EVER come across. These schools are all over the country and ran out of NSW. The team refused to answer phone calls or let me speak with management and take a very long time to reply to emails. My husband has been sick in ICU (in another state), We obviously weren't able to attend classes and we were still charged for the following term and were not offered a reimbursement when I approached this terrible company. Utterly DISGUSTING

I had the same experience. I fought her and took it to the fair trade Australia. She decided to let me go without any charges. They also correspond through abusive email. Which I felt was definitely not professional! If you have been in the same situation go to fair trade and maybe this business will be made to change their policy. However I have put my daughter in Conroys dance school which we both love!!

My daughter started dancing at tiny tutus when she was 2 and absolutely loves it! She is 3 now and looks forward to it every Saturday. We have had experience with 2 teachers so far and they have both been great! We highly recommend tiny tutus for your little ballerinas.

Unfortunatley, there is no central place to review this company as a whole, that will ensure people are warned, so, while we attended classes in Epping, Vic, this review is aimed at the parent company and not any one location.

If I could give a negative score, I would. I can't begin to express how unprofessional, disorganised and disrespectful this organisation is.

My 2 yo granddaughter was very excited to start ballet in one of their suburban Melbourne classes. In the 10 lessons she has attended thus far, she has had 3 different teachers (2 permanent and one casual). Anyone who has a toddler knows that, for most, it takes time to get to know and feel comfortable with a stranger. That seems to have escaped this organisation. Every time a new teacher starts, it is back to square one and I've become concerned not just at her lack of progress but regression - not skills related but confidence and socialisation. The technical skills were never the focus.

Then comes the recital. You have to pay in advance and are told that they will learn their routines from the beginning of term 3. Well, not if you have different teachers (who, naturally, all have different ways of doing things) you won't. 2nd week into term 4 we were advised of a new recital dance. 3 weeks prior to the recital! By the time your realise that this mismanagement of staff has impacted your little one so that there is no way they can perform in front of an audience for the first time and be anything but anxious, it's too late. Of the $100 recital fee, part is non-refundable and then an admin charge is heaped on top making any refund miniscule. Now to the recital costume. When your child starts you order a class tutu. In our case, a size 2. There is no measurement or fitting service for the recital costume - you just order based on the size of your class tutu. My granddaughter's still fits perfectly so, naturally, we ordered the same size. It was delivered by way of her class teacher and, unfortunately, doesn't fit. To exchange it, they expect me to pay express post and then courier to get a replacement. They refuse to go through their own delivery method using the class teacher. After reading some of these other reviews, I'm not hopeful for a smooth refund or cancellation of her next term. For an organisation that charges double that of my other 6yo granddaughter's dancing school for classes and costumes, I expected more. I understand that teaching such a young age comes with it's challenges but this organisation is definitely NOT worth it.

Update: They have sent me a further email stating that they will now accept return of the costume through the teacher BUT won't replace with the same style in a bigger size because they don't have any (not sure what they would have done if we hadn't withdrawn from the recital). Their practices are nothing short of dodgy.

Disgraceful company to deal with. My daughter went to 2 lessons and there was no organisation what so ever. I cancelled via email as my dad passed away and it was a difficult time. The customer service was appalling. They told me I would have to pay an entire term as I didn’t cancel after the first lesson and told me to produce a death certificate for my dad. I replied saying that this was acceptable next minute I’m getting a letter from a debt collector! Don’t do it the classes as rubbish and they charge the earth!!!

Tiny Tutus is a rort. When you sign up you have to give them your direct debit details and they automatically take out the money prior to each term. A full year will cost you about $1100 and that is without any of their silly extras. You have to tell them 4 weeks in advance of each term if you want to quit. Which is unreasonable and I have never come across anything like that for anything else my kids do. You pay for the recital in instalments throughout the year and there is no refund if you dont end up doing the recital. The whole Tiny tutus thing is very commercialised and dont be fooled by the marketing on their website. The classes have little value. They are just a muck about and the website makes it all out to be more than it really is. The classes aim to not challenge your children in any way. Whats the point!!! they learn very little in the way of ballet or that effort, discipline and dedication can have rewards and satisfaction.
