We're crazy for sushi train!

My mother loves the place so much that we often plan catchups here. The place is quite expensive, but the price is worth it if you are into the gimmick.

The sushi here is also better than anywhere else in the city!

much much smaller and different owner from Welland, Hyde Park and Gouger Street. EXCELLENT CRISPY tempura. Chef knows his stuff. Watched regulars order noodle dishes and almost wished it was cooler to do same. Draw back is that because of its size, you come out smelling of cooking oil. If you work in the city you could always do take away

Approximate cost: $4-$5

I love going there as it nit generally very crowded except lunch time. The service is generally good. The staff can be a hit and miss. The food is great. You have to try a few dishes to get to know what you like the best. You can go on eating without control and can end up spending upto 16-20 dollars per person.

Approximate cost: $12.00

BEST SUSHI EVER!!! The sushi train franchise are the king of amazing sushi!!!

It can be a bit pricey but I would generally get it for lunch as I know I would spend a fortune if I was to get it for dinner.

Can be very squishy at peak times so I prefer to take away.

The staff are lovely and so friendly. Makes you feel appreciated.

Approximate cost: $3.50 - $10.00

Love sushi from Sushi train! I always have a pleasant experience and it's a great place for a date or even with a group of friends. However, I feel that the sushi is quite overpriced and I usually easily end up spending $30-40 before I'm actually full.

My family goes nuts over sushi train. There is, as the name suggests, a revolving 'train' in the centre of the bar - style table setup, where you can pull sushi, sashimi and desserts from.
It's expensive but it's a lot of fun. Some people prefer a more authentic sushi experience but if you're after something quick that still gives you heaps of choice, or after a more novel eating experience, the Sushi train is great.

There are also other menu choices, like noodles with teriyaki chicken and the like. I prefer not to eat these as they often come hastily made and not too tasty. It's often the case that a restaurant's speciality dishes are the ones you should stick to and Sushi train is best for, well, sushi!

I love this place for sushi. It is for those who are in a hurry while still being offered a wide selection.

Food here is consistently good, fresh and appealing.

Can easily blow your budget if you are on one though

Approximate cost: $5.00

Gets very crowded at lunch time and if your happy to be sitting shoulder to shoulder with a complete stranger its a good place to go for a cheap lunch.
Better value than the bigger sushi train at the markets but you get less choices. The staff are very friendly, they say goodbye to everyone in Japanese as they leave!

Approximate cost: $3

For a quick meal in the city after work hours is where I normally find myself there.. at $3.00 a plate.. What you eat is dictated by what comes around on the train, although you can order what you want to eat from the menu.. but that's probably part of the fun of eating at a sushi train..

Approximate cost: $3.00
