When turn off the lights and everything starts glowing, the music kicks in - makes for a good atmosphere to go bowling.
It's not too busy either so its good to go with a few mates and chill without disburbing large groups.
The ice cream is a notch better than the average stuff you see in the supermarket. The value however isn't there, ice cream with 2 mix ins $7? You could have this at home who way less.
As the only major indoor pool in Adelaide region the Aquatic Center really should be better. It needs a face lift and improvement of facilities. Other than that its a fun place to go to and do a few laps. The kiddie pool is way too hot though and are a bit heavy handed with the cholorine but I guess its to be expected at a public pool.
Best ice cream around. Heaps of flavours which constantly rotate, the staff are really friendly in letting you try flavours. The sundaes are really well presented and are the stuff of childhood dreams. You can tell that the ice-cream has been made with quality ingredients.
They also do killer milkshakes
A.B = WIN !!! (yiros meat, chips, sauce!)
Always full of uni students, great chips and the place to go to get over a big night.
Great memories of uni ;)
Best mexican in Adelaide without a doubt!
Love the chicken fajitas, nachos and sangria. The decor is very fitting for a mexican restaurant and it makes it a fun place to visit.
The steaks are excellent! Cheaper than the king Gauchos yet the quality is there.
The sauce is very nice and the other meat items other than steaks are also done really well.
The service is very professional and helpful with wine recommendations.
Approximate cost: $30
Pretty standard fare, far from the best sushi around and the quality difference between good sushi stores is very noticeable. They raw salmon/tuna doesn't seem that fresh or sushi grade. If you stick with the 'plainer' type rolls you should be fine.
They usually have buy 3 rolls get a free can deal which would be the only reason I go if I am in a rush to get back to work.
Approximate cost: $8
If you every need to cater for business lunches etc then Glow is the place to go. The wraps/sandwiches/baguettes were top notch, very good ingredients, good flavour combos and overall a big hit with everyone in the office.
You would think with a name like 'coffee cup' they would know how to make a coffee but sadly they don't.
If you want a latte served in a huge glass mug that is horribly weak and not even hot then come here. There food is nothing special either.
If your ever down in the David Jones food court and want a coffee, keep walking and go to the italian cafe down there (2 metres away) they have great food and great coffee.
