Cakes from here are delicious, they also do hot food (party pies, sausage rolls, pasties) which is usually better quality than most places. Great for a fast sugar hit. It's also something of an icon of the mentone shops

The Krusties, custard or fruit filled donuts, were around way before Krispy Krems's and are SOOOOOOO much NICER!!! They also have a huge selection of pies and pastries and quiches. They are all so yummy. Great coffee there. Not a huge place to sit in and eat but always plenty of yummy things to take home. They also do cake decorating cakes for special occasions and the ideas are endless!

If you want cheap sugary things to fill yourself with, here is the place to go. From the scary smiley cookies to the fake looking apple slice, its all here at Sunbeam. Made to order cake don't require much notice which makes you think "are they really make to order?" High school kids love the place as to do the grannies who crowd around in there at lunch time...

So many delicious pastries on offer - I love the apple crusties (way better than a krispy kreme)! I remember they used to give out free samples on the streets - it just melts in your mouth.

The lemon tarts are to die for! You can come in to Sunbeam and the baker will pipe any words you wish on top of your cake in chocolate. They have an amazing selection of home-made cakes that are top-quality.

This has to be the nicest cake shop I have found. All of the cakes and buns just melt in your mouth and you can sit and have a coffee there also. The hardest thing is deciding what to buy.
