Coffee was average. The lemon grass and ginger tea was undrinkable. The service was poor to say the least. Girl at register stared blanky at me when i said i wanted to pay. Have no idea what was going on there. The only lady who had a clue as to what was going on was rude the entire time and never smiled.

Yummy dumplings for an excellent price!

I had the vegetarian whilst my partner enjoyed the pork dumplings. Your choice of steamed or deep fried. They are handmade and the fillings are delicious. I find that sometimes vegetarian dumplings can be overloaded with either mushrooms or spinach but not here. The inside filling was a perfect balance!

Lots of condiments on each table and complimentary green tea!

I cannot wait until my next visit!

Whoever wrote that the coffee mile was on Carlisle street obviously hadn't walked down the alley to Monk! I have never had a bad or average coffee from this place, its always fantastic. Their selection of home-made baked vegan goodies are delicious and the meals are equally good. The place can get a little crowded when its full and you may have to wait for a table but its worth it. They have also extended their hours.

The meals are well priced, the food is delicious and there is lots to choose from. Menu items are clearly marked for being vegan, gluten free and vegetarian. Both white and brown rice are on offer as well as made-to-order items. No EFTPOS so remember to bring cash. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. Staff are always cheerful and friendly. Love it! Someone is probably going to get upset with me but I would eat here over Soulmama down the road any day!

I can't believe no one has mentioned in their reviews that this place makes VEGAN bread (except for the loaf with cheese in it). They also make vegan blueberry scrolls and other vegan treats which are absolutely delicious. I recommend all vegans grab something sweet and then head down to the Were Street Food Store for a delicious soy coffee. It will make your day :o)

I first went to the Were Food Street Food Store when the barista would draw a face in your flat white. It was impressively good looking and tasting coffee. Its a few years on now and while someone else made my coffee this morning, it was still great. The staff are friendly and the shop seems neater and more welcoming these days. I totally recommend stopping over for a coffee if you're ever in the area!

I love every Grill'd but I would have to stay that this one at Windsor makes the most tasty vegan burgers! Sometimes they can be a little dry or a little bland but whatever tiny adjustment Windsor puts into their burgers, it makes them perfect every time!

They frequently have 2 for 1 vouchers printed in the Leader and an awesome selection of Cascade juices!

The staff were lovely and friendly but compared to other salons that I have been to my hair style was just average. It wasn't bad but nothing to rave about. As soon as my hair grew a little, the style was gone and I needed to go and have it cut again. I find that with more skilled stylists, my hair can grow out for a while and still look great.
