Was very impressed with the pies from here. Also found the 2 ladies serving to be very friendly, which was lovely as the staff at the bakery down the road are quite gruff.

RUDE!
I live locally to this cake shop and they have amazing pastries.
The service however is consistently rude.
I was in just this morning and as there is a bell on the counter i rang it and a head stuck around the doorway and said "Yes, I'm on the phone", no 'I'll be one minute' or (to caller) 'Can you possibly hold one minute'.
The tone was gruff and the look on her face was that i was inconveniencing her.
There was another fellow in the store and as i remarked that she had been rude, he turned on his heels and left...as did I.
All in all...cakes good (but overpriced), service bad.

Been going there since I was little, used to get chocolate spiders and their face cakes are the best! But now I cannot get enough of their danuts! If I could stop eating them I would! Staff are friendly enough, also their pastries are quite good! Yet to get a birthday cake there, but I have high hopes!

I got my daughter's first birthday cake from here. It was well done. Had an error on it when I picked it up, but was fixed on the spot without any dramas. Cake was very moist. Staff were nice, but without raving about them.

I have been going here for years. Cakes are beautiful and always fresh. They made a beautiful cake for my son's 21st and everyone came back for seconds. White Chocolate Mud Cake Yum............ Staff are friendly and shop is always spotless.

I haven't been here in a while but when i did buy things from here I really enjoyed them especially compared to other cake shops in this area. They have a european doughnut type thing with custard that is really delicious and unique

I have had a few cakes and pies from this lovely little place and have never been disappointed. I have had a beautiful birthday cake and my partner loves the bee stings!

Amazing little shop which has been around for many many years. Over 10 years ago they allowed me to come and learn from them to decide whether to persue my career as a pastry chef. These amazing people inspired me. Very friendly staff and amazingly yummy products! They also make fantastic birthday cakes which I remember getting when I was younger. Highly reccomend!

There are not many nice bakeries around here (Have to move to Acland street St Kilda one day!) - but luckily Sunbeam seems a good one! Their birthday cake is always a winner at the parties! Occasionally we like to be indulged with their Neenish tart and fresh Cinnamon Rolls, yes they do melt in your mouth. :)

The lovely ladies at Sunbeam make a great birthday cake - a must at all of my family's birthday dinners and/ or parties. Also, they make a awesome hot chocolate to have with one of their many delicious cakes after work/ school.
