I was a little nervous for my first appointment at a salon as I'm only 14 but Caroline and all the girls made me feel really at home, which made me relax and feel comfortable straight away. I loved how Caroline shaped my eyebrows and showed me how to maintain them. I am now looking forward to my next visit and thinking of trying a few other things, like a pedicure or a facial. I really like the look of the salon too, its very peaceful and pretty. Thanks for making me feel comfortable and I love my new look.

My initial reason for going to RDC spa was to escape into a different reality for an hour or so after receiving some very bad news. When I booked in for my first appointment it was suggested that I have a consult with the owner, Caroline, which was extremely comforting considering my state of health. Caroline was incredibly honest with her advice and her level of compassion really moved me, my expectations were already being exceeded.

Going back to the very first time I came to RDC, I remember looking around the reception area alone and thinking wow! I felt like I was at one of those gorgeous 5star resort spas, the decor is stunning, the ambience filled with warmth and serenity and the staff were so friendly and ready to make me feel like I was their only priority. Seriously felt like a hollywood star and I loved it!

I have now had several treatments and with each visit I can honestly say that I am truly enjoying my experiences at RDC. I am impressed with how well they know their products and how efficiently and courteously they provide their services. As a bonus I have noticed that they take an interest in getting to know you as a person not just a 'client', and actually care about your needs. Caroline often asks me how I feel my treatments are going and if I am noticing the changes for myself and is always happy to answer all my questions no matter how many times I think I have asked the same ones…sorry haha.

The fact is that my experience at RDC, each and every time has been one of absolute joy, right from my initial arrival I am made to feel so welcome as I am greeted by a warm hello and shown to my room, very rarely have I had to wait in the waiting area, although I must admit it doesn't phase me on those few occasions where I have waited, as it is such a beautiful space. I find it as an opportunity to take in the serenity and go to that peaceful place in preparation for some pampering, leaving the hustle and bustle out in the carpark where it belongs.

I don't normally write reviews but today I had to bring my 14 year old with me and she openly commented on how peaceful and friendly her experience at RDC was. This made me think that if someone can make my girl feel that, then it is worth noting and definitely worth spending a few minutes to say thank you. After all how often do we really get to say thank you to one another……so thank you so much RDC.

Special thank you to Caroline for taking such a genuine interest in helping me to feel relaxed and smile, to get that feeling of escapism with each treatment. I love every second and can honestly say that RDC is definitely the kind of business i would not only recommend to my friends but am proud to do so.

I attended RDC Spa as my husband purchased a package for me for Christmas. When I rang to book I asked if I could change the package to another one as I preferred a different package to what he had paid for. They said it would be ok. I asked if there was a price difference between the package he purchased and the one I chose (as there were no prices listed in the brochure supplied with the voucher) they said no.

The package I chose I was meant to receive a salt rub, spa soak, facial, massage and scalp massage. This is how it panned out...

I arrived at RDC and was impressed as it is simply stunning inside. They directed me to a room to get changed into my robe. After getting changed I went through for my body salt rub, which was awkward as the therapist had to keep leaving the room to get things. Once that was done I was directed to another room to soak in the spa for 20mins. After the spa turned off (as they said it would) I got out and put my robe back on. I waited in the room for another 10mins until I had to stick my head out the door to call out for someone. When someone eventually came to fetch me and placed me in a waiting lounge area, which was nice. Then I had my massage. After the massage I was told to get changed and then I was re-directed to the reception counter where the lady asked me if I wanted to book another appointment and indicated my treatment had ended. I advised them I hadn't received my facial. They then apologized and redirected me into a room where I was given a facial. Then I was advised the treatment was over and I was redirected again to the reception counter. I handed over my voucher and left.

Whilst driving home I realized I didn't receive my scalp massage. At the time I thought it wasn't worth driving back or ringing them up over it as, to be honest, I didn't want to go back anyway as the service had been so bad.

When I arrived home a girl from RDC called me to advise me I owed them $60!! I asked why, to which they replied there was a $60 difference in the package my husband purchased and the package that I changed it to. I asked why they told me when I booked, that were wasn't a price difference to which they replied I wasn't told that - even though I KNOW I asked them when I booked the appointment. Then I told the girl I didn't receive my scalp massage anyway. She offered for me to come back and they would give me one. I told them that after I had almost been sent home halfway through treatment AND I was left alone in a room and had to call out for a staff member to me AND accused of being a liar that I didn't want to step back in their salon. She then said "be a b!tch and do a runner then!" and slammed the phone down on me! I wrote a complaint letter to the manager and never got a response.

I will NEVER step foot in this salon again.

I had high expectations as this spa is just beautiful as you walk in. The ambiance is just beautiful and you immediately feel relaxed. I was taken through to a quiet area to 'get in the zone' before my treatment which, again, was just delightful. Unfortunately once the therapist came to get me it all went downhill. I had booked a 'revive' package which included a 1hour massage, a 30min facial, an eye mask and a scalp massage. The therapist talked through most of the treatment, gave an average massage (which only lasted 45 mins) and there was no scalp massage at all. It felt like I was being rushed through as she was in a hurry to get home. Now to be fair, this may have been a one-off, but I am not prepared to try them again as it was very expensive and I would much rather spend the money and try my luck elsewhere.
