Dr Parker is such an amazing doctor. He has been at my children's deliveries and we have been seeing him for years. My son is usually quite shy but Dr Parker has an amazing ability to engage him. The staff are very polite and professional.

Staff are disgraceful! We sent referrals in 3 months ago with no response then to be told he doesn't see DCP children. Yet he saw this same child a few years earlier. This is discrimination and this Dr and staff should be ashamed that they treat kids different!

Isn't this page for our opinions/experiences? We have a right to post what we think or what we experienced without having some keyboard warrior attacking us. Glad you had a great experience with Dr Parker. We have found a new brilliant Dr to help with our less fortunate DCP children which we look after on behalf of the Government. If only all children were as lucky as your children!

thanks emma758, I would like you to know that I have been in contact with Word of Mouth and my review will be going back up. I do hope that by the way you are acting towards everyone else's review, that doesn't share your opinion, reflects strongly on your own personal prejudice towards others. I am also more than happy to discuss this over email rather than in public since you do know it, but unfortunately it wouldn't matter if you got my full story as you are indeed out to suppress everyones own opinion in regards to our own experience.

Dear emma758
I am able to provide a different opinion from someone else because my experience has NOT been good. I do not agree with you that others have been so fortunate based on a couple of satisfied people. Your comments seem to lack any understanding of the people that do not value and respect Dr Parker. With the comments of anonymous it's unfair of you to judge that person for having an opinion different to yours. I'm sure they would be deeply offended if they read this mean comments online such as "who probably didn't listen, forgot, cancelled or did the wrong thing themselves and didn't think about the consequences or who failed to provide the correct information in the first instance" Wow by the way congratulations on making such a huge assumption, I for one can assure you I did none of those things I WAS DESPERATELY WORRIED ABOUT THE HEALTH AND WELLBEING OF MY CHILD and spent a great deal of time listening, making notes, checking and booking appointments and giving detailed written and printed information to all of my child's practitioners...did you do that? Did you actually type out extensive notes detailing dates history and previous treatments and print them and take them to your appointments?? I can assure you the consequences were never far from my mind at that difficult time. I also find it strange that you would take such an interest in my comment, however, given the ridiculous tirade you have posted above I highly suspect you work for or are personally involved with Dr Parker. I am quite happy to donate $1 so you can maybe voice your opinions to Lifeline or someone who might actually care. I have found Dr Parker's practice is anything but professional. If you feel that it's wrong for me to give my own personal and very honest opinion about a Doctor who has not helped my child at all then I'm not sorry for showing my dissatisfaction!!
Aarons514 we moved to Dr Richard Christie in Midland. Wow what a relief that was. Turned the situation around and never looked back. Good luck on your quest :0)

Dr Parker was recommended by a friend in the medical field. We I found him to be a fantastic paediatrician and very knowledgeable and approachable. My son is quite shy but Dr Parker had him laughing away within a few minutes.

Dr Parker prescribed a thorough home care plan with many useful tips for how to handle the day to day management of my sons condition. In addition, the medication he prescribed worked immediately. All of the issues which had been causing my son so many problems were resolved within a couple of weeks. I just wish we had visited Dr Parker sooner.

Dr Parker also offers the full skin prick allergy testing if you are fed up waiting to get checked through the public system.

A really decent man and wonderful doctor.

Took our son here for help with epilepsy and anxiety issues. Prescribed medication which had disastrous effects. Rang 3 times over 48hours left urgent messages to contact us with an explanation about our concerns with the medication. Didn't return our calls for 2 days. Receptionist just said "he's a busy man" yeah great tell that to the parent of a kid who is suicidal from medication prescribed.

Dr parker is a paediatrician who is fantastic with children. I found it very easy to talk to him and he answered all my questions and explained them in easy to understand terms. I'm more than happy to make the trip several suburbs away to see him
