So. my daughter works next door to this butchers. Whilst killing time waiting for her to finish one day I just wandered in for a bit of a sticky as I'd never been there before. Well how pleasantly surprised was I? Not only did the display cabinets full of meat look appealing.....the staff were quite nice too! A pleasant shopping experience with all my questions answered, my order taken and exactly to the day, received a text telling me my Christmas order was ready for collection! The hams we ordered were absolutely delicious, the gluten free chicken schnitzel was to die for and the steak just melted in your mouth. DEFINATELY will be shopping there from now on! Highly recommended!

Everything here is amazing - the meat and other foods are always the best, and the service is wonderful. It's fantastic to have a local freerange butcher who so obviously cares about the work they do. I can't say enough good things!

Love Cannings! I drive all the way from Fitzroy North to shop there. The staff are friendly and there is a great range of meats. They often run out of eggs on saturday and they don't have a big range of milk. Everything else is awesome,

These guys are fantastic and it's great to see a local butcher thriving and so well supported. The variety and freshness is always second to none, and the guys and gals are so attentive and always friendly. While it may not be as cheap as theater supermarkets, there's a very good reason for that - this is all free range and you mos. certainly get what you pay for. And recipes available online and a loyalty app which is a great way to reward those of us in the know. Great work guys.
