Have been bringing our cats here for years! The staff are always really friendly and are true animal lovers. I love the way they really care about our animals as if they were their own. For example when my cat was a kitten they spent extra time making sure he was kept entertained and now he's a bit old and sore, they make sure everything is easily accessible for him. I feel I can go on holiday knowing the most important members of the family are not only well looked after, but given specific love and attention.

Lisa and her team provide excellent care for our Siberian Husky-Aspen.We utilise their services a number of times a year and on every occasion Aspen is well looked after, loved and exercised. I recommend Barnestone's services regularly and without hesitation.

First time boarding for our 2 young Pomeranian's, 2 y.o. male and 18 month female. We clearly took them to the right place, and I will continue to trust Barnstone with our dogs in the future.

They were at Barnstone for just under 3 weeks. When we picked them up, they looked very well (clearly freshly bathed) and were incredibly excited to see us (a positive sign for the kennels).

During pick-up, the lady at the desk spent a considerable amount of time explaining to us how our dogs had been treated, particularly our young female - as she was initially quite shy and a little anxious (as we had anticipated). Between discussion with the lady and how our dogs were acting, it was very clear to me that our dogs had had a good time.

I had inquired at another Kennel before I found Barnstone. Not only was the other Kennel more expensive than Barnstone (especially if you added in the extras), but the other Kennel only let the dogs out of the caged area for 20 minutes a day ! Our male dog is very active, he would have gone nuts under those conditions. Barnstone let the dogs out for a considerable amount of time, based on the needs of the dog, the weather (heat) etc.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience - price, quality of service, the staff etc. I highly recommend Barnstone.

My dogs and cat had always been cared for at home by a house sitter - so when our regular lady was no longer available and no time to find someone new we investigated boarding - we tried a luxury spa up the coast but the dogs came back quite distressed despite the luxury surroundings. After seeing numerous other kennels I chanced upon Barnstone and although not as luxurious as some the premises were extremely clean and the pets appeared contented. I left the dogs and cat for a weekend as a trial and was amazed at how happy and contented the dogs were when they returned. I would probably not even consider leaving the pets anywhere else now as I know they are well cared for and safe.

All my experiences have been fantastic , I am very much involved in the industry and how it works for an animal to board in peak periods there is with most kennels a 7 to 10 or even 14 day minimum for long haired dogs to be kept immaculate and knot free in these times is impossible .All dogs come away smelling like a rose. I am aware of other kennels who allow dogs to go out wet and smelly without cause . Staff at Barnstone really care for there charges . The fact that the local vet boards his pets there when there are 4 other choices should be enough of a recommendation. When you have pets in a situation they are not used too things do occur that are beyond anyones control. I do urge you to give them a go.

I have been sending my dogs to Barnstone for over 16 years and couldn't be happier with the service I/they have received. My dogs have been lovingly looked after and always come home very happy. In their old age, they have had special attention, cuddles and consideration of their various conditions and always been spoiled, so much so that I think my current dog is somewhat unhappy when he returns home. I will be using Barnstone well into the future and cannot recommend them highly enough!

OK, so dogs don't speak, but I think my dog has a ball each time he visits! He willingly bolts out of the car on arrival and on pick up is always clean and buoyant. He sleeps quite alot when he gets home (catching up after all his partying maybe?) Staff always a pleasure to deal with.

Our two dogs love going to Barnstone. They are always very excited and happy when we drop them off. We have been taking them for the last 7 years - since they were puppies. They always come home in a great condition and lovely and clean. We have total peace of mind knowing that they are in great hands while we are away.

Been taking my dogs and cats to Barnstone for about 30 years. My young retriever has just come back happy, clean and brushed, and is now more confidant with other dogs..a good sign. My neurotic and fussy old cat came home very annoyed with me, but sleek and well and without any weight loss... obviously well cared for. I was grateful that they took the time to learn what I was worried about when I left them.

I have been leaving my dog at Barnstone for five years now and will continue to do so. She is always happy, healthy and clean when I collect her. Good job guys!
