Absolute worst customer service. You literally need to follow up EVERY STEP, they are never proactive or helpful (or dare I say apologetic) I finally had a dishwasher I ordered delivered. Within 6 months it just stopped working - absolutely useless. The follow up to get it fixed under warranty was ridiculous and literally like a full time job - having to constantly let people in the house etc. Finally they said they’d replace it. I’ve been given two dates now that keep getting moved by two weeks at a time. So now it’s been over 6 weeks waiting for the replacement but that’s if they replace it! So this is 6 weeks on top of waiting for it to be fixed, this is just waiting for it to be replaced. I’m sure the time will get moved again! What I can stand is that they don’t communicate any of this with you, you have to constantly follow up only to be told ‘oh that’s coming on x date now’ (which is two weeks away). No one told you that before, they just missed the date they were meant to come!! Seriously the absolute worst company to deal with, I don’t know how they’re still in business. Avoid them at all costs.

Use to be quite good - but last 2 orders we had problems and couldn't get a response from customer service on the last one - completely ignored - definitely going down hill

Had some difficulties initially with delivery times and phone support.
Promotional items held up main order and then were removed.
Delivery date issues.
Rude customer service.

However stressful, Main items did arrive.

Highly recommend contacting [email protected] with any issues at all as they are Polite and concise in resolving any problems. I received a phone call the same day i emailed!
This was a 1 star review until i spoke with them.

Will at least consider purchasing from Appliances online again.

After paying for my product on appliances online I did not receive it on the delivery date, and the company said they do not know when my product will be delivered and estimate about another month for a delivery. Also the customer service was rude and absolutely unhelpful.
Here is a full story about my horrible experience with appliances online.
On the 9th of March I have payed 609$ to the appliances online for a CHIQ RF 435L Fridge. I chose this specific fridge because of a 5 year warranty deal and a 430+L capacity. I then chose the closest delivery date from their online system which was the 20th of March. On the 18th of March I’ve messaged them to ask for a delivery time, the answer was that the fridge is not going to be delivered this week and I would need to wait for at least a month because the supplier is delaying the fridge delivery and it’s not their fault (which is obviously is their fault anyway as a service providers, and by taking my money they have took the responsibility to deliver my product within a reasonable timeframe). I have said that they should have at least notified my to which their support manager. answered that “I am notifying you now” after I have messaged them first. The support manager suggested only two options: two wait for who knows as long, and to pay a difference for another fridge. I have requested to provide me with another fridge in stock with the same capacity and warranty, but they refused to cover the price difference (although I would believe it’s their responsibility as service providers). Now, by the 18th of march the fridge CHIQ RF 435L rised in price and costs now 719$ and the fridge they can provide costs 796$, I might agree to pay the 77$ difference, but they have requested the whole price difference cover which is 187$. I believe this is absolutely unreasonable, and the company shouldn’t take money for the products they cannot supply.

Wow, this company is truly an online retailer way ahead of the rest. Recently I a dishwasher from them. Was kept up to date about delivery the entire way. As I live in Townsville and we just encountered the worst flooding event in 100 years, the drivers kept me up to date the entire time regarding road conditions. As soon as the roads were open again we received our dishwasher within 24 hour. It was delivered a day late, but under the circumstances that was completely fine. They understood what we were going through. The service was truly amazing. I would recommend them to anyone wanting to by an appliance online. Keep up the good work, I will be certainly ordering from you again.

Bought a washer/dryer combo. I made an error with the delivery time and wasn't available so I had to reschedule the delivery. The customer service guy I spoke to was very friendly and helpful... It was not a problem at all. The delivery guys were also good, installed it and made sure it was working before leaving. This was my first time using Appliances Online and I'm very happy with the overall experience.

No legendary service as promised, just terrible service.I ordered a dishwasher and it was scheduled to be delivered yesterday. The man arrived at 9am to deliver and install my new dishwasher. He was here 5 mins and then went out to the van where the dishwasher was told me that the dishwasher I ordered was an extra large dishwasher and not a standard sized dishwasher. He then held the tape measure to the dishwasher space and told me that the space was 87.5cm high, but the new dishwasher was 88cm, so I will need to change the dishwasher I ordered to a smaller one.I felt terrible for wasting the guy's time and making him drive to our place in the rain, so I gave him a bottle of wine because I genuinely felt bad.He then told me the dishwasher that would fit was a stainless steel Dishlex and that I would have to pay the difference of $60, so I agreed. After he left, I thought about it more and was sure that I had ordered a standard sized dishwasher, so I went online and checked.I checked the Appliances Online website and a few others and they all said that the dishwasher I ordered was 84.8cm which would definitely fit in my dishwasher spot.I then called Appliances Online and spoke to the customer service lady who was helpful and polite, so she said it was best she spoke to the delivery guy and he said it wouldn't fit because my floor was uneven. I hung up and measured the dishwasher spot from numerous points and it measured 87.5cm at every spot, so the guy was lying.I called back and spoke to a male customer service agent who was not helpful.He didn't seem interested in helping me. When I asked why I was being told that I needed to change dishwasher when the one I ordered would clearly fit, he just kept on repeating "This is what the installation professional recommended", and he didn't seem interested in helping me.We just went around in circles until I asked to speak to someone else so he transferred me to Winning Services.The lady there was super helpful and empathetic. She said she would get to the bottom of it and call me back. She was fabulous,she did as promised and said that the delivery driver admitted to measuring incorrectly, but now he felt it was a 2 man job.Obviously he was lazy and didn't feel like working in the wet weather.I then received a call from Appliances Online to tell me the dishwasher I ordered was out of stock,so I said to her that it's impossible because someone had one this morning when they were supposed to deliver it to me, she then said she would call me back.I later received a phone call from a guy telling me delivery would be Wednesday.I asked if it could come in the afternoon,he said he couldn't guarantee it.I said I'd been dicked around the least they could do is make it in the afternoon.He said he couldn't, but he could cancel the installation,refund the installation fee and get it delivered to me tomorrow (today).I was so over it and defeated,that I said yes.So today I called to find out what time it was coming today, only to be told that it would be delivered Friday.I juggled my day around to make sure I would be home today.This has been such a terrible experience.I feel it would be easier to get an articulate tweet from Donald Trump than get legendary service from Appliances Online. I will ensure I go back to buying whitegoods from Bing Lee and Good Guys as I never had problems with them, and I will make sure to tell everyone I know not to buy from Appliances Online.

Next day delivery, phone call to tell you what time they’re delivering, cheap prices, Paypal, and Australian call centre. Absolutely fantastic, would 100% recommend.
