Great place to get everything that you need and their produce is always fresh and well priced for value. Great atmosphere and wonderful variety and the quality is always the best in town.

The central market is the best place to go to for food and vegetables, its really cheap and the service there is really great, the place is really big so you have alot to choose from.

I used to wonder why people raved about the market so much...but after looking out for produce markets while travelling through similar sized cities in Eruope - now I get it! The Central Market has got to be one of the world's great produce markets. Such variety, quality and atmosphere. A must see for any tourist as markets don't get much better than this! A real showcase for SA produce - the best in Australia IMHO.

The central market is the best place for fresh fruit, meat and the best selection of cheese and coffee in Adelaide. If you want cheap, but not cheap quality it is ideal. The only complaint is the parking- Gouger street is a nightmare for free parking.

Friendly, happy, good value. Lots to look at, lots to do, something for the kids, something for gifts. Sweets, savory, breads, coffee, foods, plants. It's all here.

My Experience at the central markets was great, love the variety and the fresh food. I would recommenced everyone to go and try it out!!! The service was overall good, had to wait at one of the stalls but mainly was very quick.

Working near the markets is quite a blessing. During lunch you can have a wander around and take in the atmosphere of such a wonderful place. So much culture and so much good value. It's definitely a place to visit it's family friendly, and it's free to go. Of course you have to pay for anything you buy there but it is a great place just to visit.

OH MY GOD.. i CANNOT EXPRESS HOW MUCH I LOVE THE CENTRAL MARKETS.. GREAT FOOD.. GREAT COST.. LOTS OF OPTIONS. I ONLY WISH THEY WERE OPEN MORE. IF I CANT FIND IT IN CONVENTIONAL SHOPS, I CAN FIND IT AT THE MARKETS. AND AT FIRST, THE DIRTY FEEL OF THE PLACE PUT ME OFF, BUT NOW I FEEL IT IS ADDING TO THE CHARACTER OF THE PLACE. lOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT
