This restaurant overlooking the water in Cockle Bay, Sydney, is easily one of the best steak restaurants I have ever been to in my life. The entrees of garlic prawn and scallop were great, but the steaks we ordered, scotch fillet for the wife, and rump steak for me were extraordinary! So tender, so tasty, so unbelievably 'effing good, that I'm scared that every steak I order from now on won't be able to compete! Oh well, we'll just have to go back again sometime. The service by Lisa, our waitress, was exceptional and overall I can't recommend this restaurant enough. If you want a steak, this is the place to go!

I regularly take my cat here as she has ongoing medication issues that require regular testing. As far as vets go, they're OK. Not the best, not the worst. Their fees are high (but what vet is cheap?), and the medication is also expensive. I always feel that they are trying to upsell things to me when I am there, which is disappointing, but once again, also the reality of many businesses today. The staff are friendly, the premises are clean and tidy, and my cat and dog don't mind going :)

From the first call to make an appointment, right through to the dentist visit, everyone here was very courteous and professional. The dentist was very thorough and deft, the facilities are very modern and clean. I'm normally hesitant on the first visit to a new dentist (who isn't?), and after this experience, I would recommend this one. I had a check up and clean. Lots of parking, easy to find on the main street in Kilmore.

We often dine at Hogan's, and the quality of their meals has always been very good. As one of Wallan's only pubs, and with the increasing population of the town, it is very popular. This is now also one of their downsides. It is nearly always packed, and you are wise to book in advance to get a table. As it is so busy, expect to wait a while for your meals if you have made your booking at 'prime time' on the weekends. (6.30pm ish). The staff are always friendly, and kids are well catered to on the weekends with a roving magician or balloon artist etc in the dining room or kids play area.

We ordered our coffees on a not too busy day, the guy serving us was indifferent and quite cold, he seemed to be in another world! The coffee was nothing to write home about either, too hot and bland. A poor experience, and not one I'd care to repeat. Judging by the other reviews, maybe it was just a bad day?

We used Silver Spit Roast to cater for our wedding function at a farm property in December 2012. They were one of the only caterers to offer to do the spit roasting at the venue itself, rather than just roasting in commercial ovens in a factory, and bringing the finished product to the venue when complete. All of our guests were very complimentary of the service given, and the standard of the food served. Nicholas and his team were very professional from start to finish on the day, and we recommend them highly.

Smallcrete extended our driveway crossover, their service was very friendly and professional, and we're very pleased with the outcome. We had other companies quote us for this work, not only were there more expensive, they didn't even advise us that we needed a permit to do the job!
