We ate here on a Saturday night, arriving early. We did not need to book, however the place filled up pretty quickly soon afterward, so I would recommend booking.

The food was well presented, generous and tasty, and the service was quick and efficient.

The pricing was a little on the higher side, with entrees at roughly $10, mains at $20, and a glass of white wine also nearer $10. The reality is though, is that this is a licensed premises, so you would expect the pricing to be a little higher.

We would return.

We bought a secondhand car here recently. We saw the car advertised for $7490.00, we offered $6800.00 and were point blank refused any further price negotiation. A few days later, the car was in the yard advertised at $6990.00. At least they came some way in meeting the market eventually!

We visited again, but again, received no price discount on what was advertised. That said, we did think the price the car was now more or less at a fair market price. It did come with a one year warranty, over and above the statutory three month warranty required.

The paperwork was all in order, we were informed about our cooling off period rights as a consumer, and in general the whole process went smoothly.

The staff were friendly, and on delivery the vehicle did have a full tank of fuel.

The coffee here is consistently good, and the babychinos are one of the best we've seen.

The pastries are excellent, and are of the quality you would expect from a business with a name like this.

The staff are friendly and efficient. One of our favourites at Chermside.

We ordered the crumbed snapper, minimum chips and a couple of potato scallops. The fish was fresh and well cooked, the chips and potato scallops were excellent, and done in fresh oil.

The staff were quick and friendly, the premises were clean with the fish on display in the front cabinet.

We were impressed with the quality and presentation of the pizzas we ordered. As it was our first visit, we ordered benchmark pizzas: Hawaiian and BBQ Chicken. Both were tasty, well proportioned and with well cooked bases that retained their crunch.

The ice cream on offer is pretty steeply priced, my partner liked the chocolate variant we tried, I didn't think it was anything overly special - just OK.

The staff were friendly, the premises looked clean.

We ordered two hamburgers with the lot one Friday night, along with two potato scallops and minimum chips. I knew I had made a mistake once the smell of the chips frying wafted through the shop. It smelt like they were using oil from the Exxon Valdez oil spill in 1989, and the chips and potato scallops reflected this.

The hamburgers were OK, nothing special.

The premised were reasonably clean, and the two ladies there were very friendly.

We ate in the bistro on a Friday night. The menu was OK, as were the prices, we thought the bar prices were good. The bistro area itself is a bit of a mish mosh, with the pokies intruding, rather than being in a separate area out of sight in a separate gaming room. There was live music, which the other punters seemed to enjoy, and good to see them having a dance on the dance floor.

You know, sometimes the local Chinese takeaway can be a bit dodgy, leaving you and your wallet feeling a bit 'bleargh'.

Happily, Orientown is not one of these.

We were both quite hungry, and ordered the Mixed Entree, Combination Cashew Nuts, Lemon Chicken, Combo Omelette and large Steamed Rice. We could not finish it. The servings were generous, and well prepared.

Having ordered take away, we were impressed that the dishes were served in large, round take away bowls, rather than being squashed into rectangular take away containers as is generally the case at other places (greeting you with a mushy asian brick when you open it later when you get home!)

The staff were friendly, and being early on a Saturday night, the service was prompt. There was no EFTPOS availability.

We had dinner in the restaurant on a Sunday night. The menu composition was good, but we found the execution somewhat disappointing and lacking value. We both ordered the 'Surf and Turf' (or similar) for main course. It was just OK, nothing to rave about. For what is one of their most expensive items on the menu, we expected a bit more WOW factor. The seafood aspect was small and the overall presentation was lacking. The steaks were a good quality.

For dessert we had the Berry Brulee, and the Chocolate Brownies. Both were good, and well presented.

The dining room is a bit cavernous, and requires something to soften the edges, dampen the sound and make it feel more like a restaurant dining room.

The staff were all friendly and helpful.

Fiona will take such good care of you in her beautiful home salon which is lovelier than any salon I've actually been in. She is friendly, easy to talk to & does a fantastic job from top to bottom no matter what you need doing. Not only that, her prices are lower than anything you will find in a salon & the service is better. FANTASTIC!
