We lost our beloved Honey Girl (Staffy x 12 years of age) November 2016. Our Vet recommended we use their cremation services so we did, I was in an absolute mess as she passed away while i was overseas unexpectedly, i was not in the right frame of mind to be looking for other cremation services and just wanted our baby laid to rest and bought home to us as soon as possible. Intially we were told it would take 2 weeks to have her returned, I was devastated but was advised that this was normal protocol with all cremation services BUT when I phoned at exactly 2 weeks, i was told that the cremation services had only just picked her up from the vet and that it could take a further 2 to 3 weeks. I was shocked and couldn't believe that all this time, my baby was still at the Vet as I had been made to believe that she was being picked up within a week of her passing. At this point, I was an emotional wreck, that was it...Unacceptable and i knew I had to do something. I got online and found Jonathon at Pearly mates. Explained to him what had happened, he was shocked and so understanding at what we were going through and I almost felt he too was angry at the treatment we had received mainly by our Vet of 11 years and their recomendation to use their cremation services knowing full well the reason it takes them so long to return your pet. I was mentally stressed and emotionally drained and just wanted my girl home, our vet should have known better and suggested we find another cremation service and when Jonathon asked me how much they were going to charge us, he was shocked. He suggested I ring the vets cremation services to return her ASAP and he will pick her up and have her back to us in no time. The vet had her little body returned and Jonathon did exactly what he said and was so understanding and caring, 2 days later Jonathon bought my baby girl home, she was finally able to rest in peace. I introduced Jonathon to my little man Scruffy (Maltese x Shuitsu 14 years of age) whom had been diagnosed with cancer. I told Jonathon I will need him again when it's my little mans time. Sadly my Scruffy passed away 4 days ago, i phoned Jonathon who again was very caring. My little man slept peacefully in his bed next to us overnight and the following day Jonathon came to our home and picked him up cradling him lovingly as I do. Again Jonathon was caring and compassionate and could feel my pain of losing yet another one of my best friends within a short time. My little man is with Jonathon now. I would not have it any other way, I know Jonathon is looking after him until he comes home this Saturday. There is no doubt in my mind that Jonathon from Pearly mates is the one for anybody considering cremating their fur babies. He is understanding and caring and treats our fur babies with love and respect. Thank you Jonathon, can't wait to have my Little Man home so he can sit next to Honey Girl.
