In addition to the standard key cutting services, the gentleman who owns this business also provides an engraving service and sells all sorts of useful bits and pieces that you might have trouble finding at other places - vacuum cleaner bags, leather conditioner, etc. Our experience is that the service is always timely and friendly.

This is a family-owned fishmonger that sells Australian seafood only. There is always a good selection to choose from, week to week and we especially enjoy the whole fish, salmon fillets and prawns. Each Advent, you can place a Christmas order, which you collect and pay for on Christmas Eve.

We have been using this service for about a year and our use of it has varied greatly depending on workloads, travelling, etc. We appreciate the ability to log on to the Web Site and vary our order when necessary - everything from putting a regular order on hold if we are travelling, to adding or deleting items to buying the Christmas goodies. This is a particularly great feature as we have paid four hampers off in installments and one will be delivered on our behalf in a different city, which is great.
In general, quality is excellent, apart from the occasional fruit and veg item. You pay a premium in comparison to shop prices but the convennience of delivery and - for me - the benefit of staying away from the shops and not indulging in impulse spending in the supermarket or milk bar are well worth it. We have milk, bread, etc deliverd twice a week and a mixed fruit and vegetable box delivered once a week.

This review is for Holy Saviour Primary School, Vermont South VIC

This is the primary school that my children attend. It is a small school, with less than 300 students and, apart from Prep, each class is a combined class as follows Grade 1/2, Grade 3/4 and Grade 5/6. We find this school to be a great place for our children to learn - a supportive community as well as a good learning environment. The fact that the school is committed to composite/combined classes is a positive factor for us as we believe there are significant benefits for all children in such class structures. As a practising Catholic, I believe that Holy Saviour School is a place where our children get a good grounding in academic basics and social preparation for high school in an environment that fosters their development as ethical, humanitarian people.

This review is for Fitzpatrick Life Services Pty Ltd, Glen Waverley VIC

We have been using Fitzpatrick Life Services for our insurance needs for more than 10 years. In the days before we used the Internet for just about everything, they were the only company that responded promptly and courteously when I made enquiries about life insurance and income protection insurance. We have since had the same Agent/Life Services Manager who has helped us find the best value life insurance, and income protection insurance, for our needs over the past decade. We correspond primarily by e-mail, which works effectively and enables us to communicate efficiently and quickly. When our Agent was on maternity leave last year, another Manager stepped in as our contact. As well as having a great Agent/Manager, we have always found the reception staff and other staff with whom we have come into contact to be polite, courteous and prompt in responding to queries.

We have been customers at Kerrie Road Pharmacy for more than ten years - through two pregnancies, births, toddlerhood, pre-school year and now primary school years. We have always found the staff to be caring and courteous, the products of high quality and the service second to none. The pharmacists and other staff always take the time to explain products, give advice when advice is sought and find the best product possible for the need identified at the time. They take care of our family needs when we are sick and when we are looking for sunscreen or hair detangler or a gift or a hat...If you would like to order something in or it is out of stock when you visit, the product is normally at the chemist within a day or two.

This review is for Vermont South Dental, Vermont South VIC

These dentists were specifically recommended to us as great dentists for children when my kids were at pre-school. Dr Trinh Du has become our family dentist and I can't recommend her highly enough. Not only are her skills excellent, her manner with all is courteous and considerat and she always takes the time to explain what she will do, what she is doing, what she has done and why. Dr Trinh is currently on maternity leave and I went to her replacement a couple of weeks ago and had an excellent experience - xrays, exam and cleaning - all carried out with as little discomfort as possible and a great result.

This review is for Jungle Jims, Vermont South VIC

We love the fish and chips from Jungle Jim's - and the potato cakes, and the prawns and the calamari and the dim sims...You can call your order in and then go and pick it up or you can go in person and wait. Even when the shop is really busy, the wait isn't too long and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. We have tried most of the fish and chip shops in our greater neighbourhood and we think that Jungle Jim's is the best!

This is a small deli with a lot packed into the space. As well as all the staples, this deli has all our favourites - bulgarian feta cheese, fresh taramasalata, loukoumia/turkish delight, marinated octopus/pulpo... In addition, they always carry seasonal specialities - such as dye for eggs at Easter, Pannetone at Christmas and other Christmas treats. There is something for everyone here and the staff are friendly and efficient.

We often stop for afternoon tea or morning tea (during the holidays). We also pick up pies and pasties and sausage rolls for lunch, on occasion. The staff make a lovely cup of coffee (consistently too!) and you can order seasonal goodies, such as Gingerbread Houses at Christmas. We all have our favourite sweet treats - escargot, fruit mince biscuits, chocolate eclairs and apple cake...The staff are always friendly and efficient and there is usually space at a table - to share if you can't get one all to yourself.
