You can get a great view, great ribs, great service and great cocktails/mocktails here. The prices are reasonable for the area and experience but it's more of a date spot than family dining. It can get loud with how popular it is so you can only here people around you anyway.
Booking is almost always necessary with its popularity.

Great atmosphere with the lighting and furniture, great enthusiastic and friendly staff, entertainment and food? Awesome.
Can be pricey if not bought with a Groupon or something but think of it as paying for an experience and a meal. IT's something to experience at least once in your life.
I'd recommend it over teppenyakI at Beverley Hills or something. This place gives off a very classy feel.

I like booths, very comfy but it's as pricey as you'd expect from a restaurant at darling harbour.
Service is very good, super friendly.
Gets busy at dinner so it's best to ring ahead sndand book.
Cute novelty and dessert place to chat but not really a dinner destination. Their ribs and savoury crepes are ok but not great.

Food is great, price is great, portions are amazing. It's best to go as a group so you can finish the pizza. It can get pretty hectic and crowded as it's a local favourite but the pizza is cheap, big and tastes amazing. It's also a great stop before seeing a movie at the Ritz. Very popular with the university students.

The place is very conveniently located near the station / cinemas. It's super cheap and customised and a good place for students to eat. The food is also good, not only for the price but good for what it is. There's lots of variety.
It has a green tea slushy which is great.

They do good ramen here but mediocre everything else. You always have to wait for a spot. This isn't a date or family place but just a pitstop to refuel. The prices are decent for its location but unless you really love ramen there's not a lot of reason to make this a regular place.

Went for lunch with my mum. View was good but the terrible screechy singing travelled into the restaurant area the whole time.
I liked the booths and touch screen ordering system but their menu was very small and the experience was very disappointing compared to Mizuya which operates off a very similar model of karaoke/dining with screens to order.

I'm a regular. Their lunch deals for $12 a set is amazing and fills you up. Their dinner options aren't as cheap but still great. I only go with 1-3 other people so the touch screen isn't an issue of contention for me. I like the freedom to order whenever and browse without the pressure to order immediately.
The booths are fun, gives you privacy, but can be bad for bony butts. You can't hear the bad singing from the karaoke rooms which is great because other places have the restaurant and karaoke rooms too close together / not insulated enough.
Great variety of drinks and dessert. I love the green tea ice cream aNd the green tea cheese cake.

This review is for Taste Of Shanghai, Sydney NSW

I love this place but to be honest it's only for a few dishes. My family's Shanghainese so I like particular dishes. I like the rice cakes with wild vegetable , rice with vegetables and salty pork in soup, and pork buns. That's pretty much all I eat from there.
The prices are decent but not the cheapest. It is one of the only places that serve Shanghai style dishes though (usually Cantonese, Northern or Sichuan). This place does serve those too ( Shanghai has very little signature dishes... Pretty much the dishes I named are it).
Gets super crowded at dinner. Better to arrive early.

I like the pho and drink (three colour). It's cheap and i think it has big portions for the pho. Place is clean but has bad lighting giving it a bit of a weird atmosphere.
It's a good change / variety to the immense amount of Chinese restaurants in Hurstville.
It can get very noisy and crowded at rush hours but otherwise it's fine. It's on the same street as the train station which is convenient.
