Chatime is my favourite pearl milk tea shop - you can specify the sweetness and there's lots of distinct flavours - my favourite is the red bean pearl milk tea. Although many other shops can also specify sweetness, with chatime the sweetness is truly not overpowering and you can actually taste and smell the tea! I love how they have a large selection of hot drinks as well which are great during winter.

A close family friend of ours passed away recently, and we wanted to send a decorated basket of flowers to the funeral. We were quite clueless as to which florist was good value so we just asked a around for different pricing and products available. At the end we found Joy florist to have the best price. At the time of ordering they didn't have the real thing on display and they just showed us a photo of what we would get. We were a bit worried whether it would turn out the same - the flowers turned out to be exactly as shown on the photo and were absolutely terrific! Would definitely recommend Joy florist to others :)

I was recommended by a friend who told me that they provide warranty on their cases - if the dimontes fall out, they will fix it for free. During X'mas, they had some cases that were 50%off and so I bought one. My only problem is that the girl that sold me the case could speak very little English so communication was a bit difficult.

They also had a promotion for a few days last December when they would put on free screen guards for phones - the guy was very friendly, efficient and professional and did not try to sell me anything.

I came here a long time ago because I walked by on an early morning and suddenly had a sushi craving - I bought a single roll (i think it was karage chicken i bought) and it tasted cold and hard. I vowed never to return here; but last week I was at Garden City upper level food court and wanted to eat sushi - Top sushi was the only choice there and this time during the lunch rush hour, I saw a long queue (a good sign!) - so I decided to give it a go one more time.

I was pleasantly surprised - I ordered a fresh salmon and a lobster salad with cream cheese - both were fresh, tasty and wiht lots of stuffing. Price is very reasonable too.

I will definitely come here again - but only during peak hours - I suspect they sell the overnight stuff in the morning!

This Ramen place only opened in Gardencity about a month ago - they have 2 other locations at Sunnybank and Market Square. Have been here twice since they first opened. They are famous for their pork broth ramen. You can order free extra serving of noodles (Kaedama) which makes it great value. Self-serve water.

Staff are polite, but like the other 2 stores, sittings are limited. Can use eftpos and credit card with no surcharge.

Approximate cost: $10-$15

I come here for Asian veg and groceries shopping frequently. Great range of products - my favourite brands are all here at a great price: LKK sauces, Nissin instant noodles and a whole heap of junk food that I frequently buy. However they stopped stocking the obento brand of udon which was disappointing as it was the best tasting and cheapest udon i could find.

Apart from having large range of asian groceries, they have a fish market within the store which sells a wide range of seafood. They frequently have NZ mussels which are exceptionally large and cheap at around $5 per kg; their barramundi and silver perch are great for making steamed fish. The staff inside the fish market are happy to give advice if you are stuck for choice. The only criticism I have is of their pre-packed salmon - i have purchased several times and find it not as fresh as Aldi's.

Also remember as with most other asian places it's CASH ONLY! My grandparents have been stuck several times as they didn't bring enough cash and don't know how to use the ATM inside the store.

I stumbled across WOMO while googling for good a good physiotherapist in the area - when i saw that you can actually claim vouchers for reviewing businesses, i was a bit skeptical and thought it was 'too good to be true' - but i was proven wrong! WOMO is definitely the real deal - i got points for reviewing the many local businesses I go to and recently got my first $20 gift card. Their mail correspondence is very professional. However, I do think the layout of the website is a bit too cluttered and a little difficult to navigate around at times.

Came here to play mini-golf for the first time --- great fun, very nice view of the city skyline, just the perfect way to spend the weekend outdoors. They also have a nice bar/restaurant; all staff very friendly. Will definitely come again!

My 1st visit here with some friends, just wanted to try something new. All portion size were very small; especially the okonomiyaki. Great if you have small appeitite and just want a small supper. Unfortunately I went there empty stomach so needed to eat somehwere else afterwards as I was still hungry. Food were well presented; taste is good but nothing spectacular. Very comfortable sitting and nice ambience. Surprisingly has surcharge on visa/master card - but to be fair I am finding more and more restaurants these days doing it.
