I am not a big fan of frozen yoghurt, but the pretty pink layout of the store really attracted me to go and try out their yoghurt! I am glad I did, cos it really exceeded my expectation! I tried the watermelon flavour frozen youghurt --- it's not too sweet or too sour, really is just right. A perfect summer treat!!
I have tried beard papa overseas, and was exicted when I came across it at garen city shopping centre. However, I was quite disppoianted - I tried the green tea flavoured one, and the icing ontop was just way too sweet, and the puff was cold and didn't taste fresh enough for me. Plus everything on the menu was quite pricy.
I have heard so much rave reviews for wagaya, and I finally went there with some friends last night. The decor and ambience is very nice, the booth seatings means great privacy and keeps noises down. Touch screen menu is great fun, especially for 1st timers. Service is quick, great selection of food - sushi, sashimi, rice, shabushabu, and some fusion dishes, such as japanese style spaghetti, pizzas and gratins! Cannot recommend this place more highly enough!
A friend recommended this place for brunch, so a few friends and I decided to rock up on a Sunday morning. Unfortunately when we arrived there were 2 large groups dining and cos we didn't make booking we had to wait about 20mins.
I ordered a 'Bennys eggs' and was told they had ran out of the homemade hollandaise sauce, and the waitress suggested replacing with tomato relish. I ordered the fresh pineapple juice and was told that was unavailable, so I ordered bottled juice.
It took 30mins for the food to be served - but it was well worth the wait!!! The pouched eggs, bacon, sourdough and tomato relish complimented each other very well, absolutely delicious.
Despite the wait and issues when ordering from the menu, I would comeback here cos the quality of the food is really quite special.
Approximate cost: $17
Amaysim definitely has one of the lowest rates around, and with a low minimum recharge ($10) lasting for 90 days, it's by far the cheapest prepaid i have used so far. They pride themselves in having Aus customer service centre, but at the cost of very long waiting times --- be ready to wait at least 20mins before your call is answered. However, if you have any queires their online form are answered within about 2-3 business days, which is very useful as well.
We came here for tea/coffee and dessert - tea was just $3.90 per pot which is cheaper than most places i know - wide variety of cakes - and all of gigantic sizes! unless you're hungry you are unlikely to finish it! The place has a rustic feel, only problem was it felt quite stuffy sitting inside.
The place has nice traditional japanese feel, but fitout overall seems quite old. Cutlery were particularly old and plain - and they use take-away type chopsticks which I think is unacceptable for any restaurants. Prices of dishes are generally a tad higher than what i usually pay for similar japanese cuisine. Overall food quality is not bad - we had eel with rice, sashimi entree and agedashi tofu; the food was served very promptly.
My friend and I were looking for something to eat before going to GOMA -- and after walking around decided to try this kebab place. I must say they have the BEST tasting kebabs everrrrrrr!!!! The meat were juicy, flavoursome and most importantly not too salty. But i must warn you that you need to be highly skilled to eat this --- i made such an absolute mess it was incredibly embarrassing :P I will definitely be back for more....preferably by myself next time so it won't matter how messy i get :)
Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday after a friend recommended it. Burgers are huge in size, neatly presented. Menu items were very creatively named!!! Overall i think the taste is good, nothing superbly outstanding, but nonetheless still a great palce for burgers!
Their chicken burgers are to die for! My friends loooooove their chips, but i think they put msg in it cos i get really thirsty after eating the chips. Nice friendly service, sometimes we have a large group sitting at hte table and 1 or 2 of us may be eating food not from them they wouldn't say a word, which is very considerate of them.
