This review is for Quality Bathroom Renovations, Capalaba QLD

After we found water leaks in our bathroom shower recess, My wife and I called a tradesman who came, started the job, then said it was bigger than he thought and left us hanging. I rang around for days and days nobody would take on a job that someone had already started. Then I found one more telephone number for Lance Edie of Quality Bathroom Renovations. I told him our bathroom dilema and I figured he would say no like every other tradesman I called. Instead he said he would come take a look. He turned up on time and explained everything that was wrong and said he'd have no trouble fixing this. He fixed it alright, good as new. He and his men were nothing short of impressive. I've never seen such neat work. Good old fashioned service by nothing but the best. Forget the rest, Lance is outstanding and my wife and I could not be happier by their service and not to mention turning up on time.

This review is for P & M Motor Body Repairs, Capalaba QLD

After hitting a traffic island with my car, I had no idea of the amount of damage until I heard a suspicious sound coming from my car. I originally called RACQ where a nice gentleman put me onto P&M to assess the damage. After the body repair shop assessed the damage, the bill totalled $1600+, I felt sick. However, P&M suggested that this came under an insurance job and walked me through the process. They explained to me that I would just need to pay an excess of $500. They explained in detail what was wrong and they also showed me how it could be fixed. I was impressed by the level of professionalism shown to me and also the quality workmanship. This company is also RACQ approved and it's easy to see why. I'm so lucky that I got the help I needed. Thanks!

This review is for Outback Steakhouse, Aspley QLD

I was recommended by friends to try a restaurant on the northside of Brisbane which started with outback. I assumed it to be Outback Steakhouse. I ended up being wrong but I'm glad that I actually got it wrong. This place ended up being one that I thoroughly enjoyed. Their ribs and steaks are sensational. I couldn't fault them. I also thought for an extremely busy restaurant, the staff were all over things. The service I got was great. As for desert.....two words chocolate thunder....awesome. Prices I thought were great for meal size, although the bill adds up quickly.

So glad to have these so handy to my work and better still before I even reach my work. This place is located at the transit centre at Roma St, train station, brisbane. The sheer amount of people that go through this area ensures that this little coffee place gets it's fair share of business. The staff serve very quickly and the wait is never too long. They also have a range of cakes to make that coffee even more special and some seating which some coffee places just lack. Prices are typical of city pricing but decent value for what you get. Certainly worth a try for both commuters of the train and for workers in the city. There is nothing better than a morning coffee.

Been around a while now and I think it's because it's a place with plenty to offer. I particuarly like the lunch deals from $9.90 up. That's decent by today's standards. Never had any issues with staff, they are helpful and it's an enjoyable place to go relax for a meal or drinks with mates. The food quality is also good no complaints there. My one grip is the location, it's on a very busy road. I guess on the upside, it's close to transport. I noticed they also put advertisements up regularly for up and coming entertainment keeping the whole atmosphere fun and fresh. Recommended.

Overall not too bad, although I've only been on two occasions, the first brilliant, excellent food, well cooked and great service. The second the food seemed extremely average. I particuarly like their pork and mussaman dishes. Deserts not too bad but nothing to rave about. I think the value for what you get in terms of serving size was quite pleasing. I'd like to go a third time just to give it a final tick on my list as a regular place to go. Plenty of parking nearby. Overall ok.....

Pretty impressed by the quality vs the price. Spent the day furniture hunting only to find it also offers a great restaurant. For 6.99 I got a serve of fish and chips and still of reasonable quality. Service people could be better (perhaps a hi... would be nice) but otherwise found it very good value. Plenty of menu options.

Smart Rehab whilst one of the smallest places you will see is big on help. Whether you've had a traumatic event, personal struggle or just not feeling right. These guys will surely help. They've certainly helped me a great deal and continue to do so. They know how to challenge you in the right way to help you find the answers with their help. We live in very difficult times and I think it's fair to say that all of us need a little help sometimes. I'm very impressed by their professionalism and are always on time with appointments. Well worth a look.

This review is for Mandrakes Paint & Panel P/L, Cleveland QLD

verified email - 26 Mar 2014

When one of my family had a slight argument with a gutter edge it required some serious fixing. The only repair place I could think of was Mandrakes at Cleveland. They've been there for over 30 years, that has to count for something. Over the years friends and family have used them for different paint and panel repair work and had no issues. But the problem was that was quite some years back. Were they still good? Sometimes you just have to take a leap of faith and hope everything is ok. We had a sports model car with bumper issues, get it wrong? Well...it was going to really be an awful situation. My sister dropped the car off, the staff were all really professional and kept her informed all the way on the status of the repair job. Then came my job/with sis to go pick the car up, I was both nervous & anxious at the same time. I kept telling myself they won't stuff this up, they've been round for ages. Got there and found out..........nothing to worry about at all, the job was outstanding, these guys fixed everything they said they would and the car looks great. I should never have had any doubt, 30 years plus of experience and also backed up with free quotes and qualified staff. Winner!!!!!

This review is for Ben's Alibi, Brisbane QLD

verified email - 25 Mar 2014

The name is what really got me thinking about this place. Who's Ben and why the heck does he need an alibi? Did Ben steal a cookie from the cookie Jar???. Well anyway maybe the website might give a clue cause the staff didn't give me any clues. Originally I was suppose to have breakfast here but due to a meeting cancellation that breakfast became lunch. Ben's Alibi had some really great pizza's on offer so I chose to have one of those. Appropriately named "Ben's Choice" the pizza had tomatoe, olives and pinenuts, some of my favourite toppings to list just a small few. They also make great coffee and I got a coffee card that gives you a free coffee after your nineth. I've tried some of the cakes they had in their window display as well and whilst they looked fantastic, I didn't think there was anything to write home about. The service was excellent. I'm still a bit disappointed that I didn't make the breakfast cutoff, I had my eye on the royal morocan breakfast (which I still want badly). If anyone has had it, please comment on my review and let me know how good it is.
