This review is for Tasmanian Meat Wholesalers, Hobart TAS

I regularly buy my meat here rather than at the supermarket because not only are their prices reasonable but they go out of their way to be help: carry any large packages to my car, get something I would like but is not on show, and generally do thier best to be helpful and pleasant.

This review is for The Big Pineapple, Woombye QLD

Most people who visit the Sunshine Coast area have been to the Big Pineapple but what about visiting their Saturday Market? This has to be one of the best around with stall after stall of locally grown produce at a reasonable price and the stall holders are so helpful and offer samples of most of their produce. Where else would you buy a pineapple for $1 or 3 avocados for $1? It is so easy to get to as the local buses from the coast stop right at the door.

I ate their twice recently, the first time was so good that I returned, not just to use the $5 discount which I earned from doing their online survey. The quality of food and the range of salads were excellent , in fact I did not have one complaint. There are really good discounts available at lunchtime and the service each time was prompt and very friendly. If you don
t have a car the Sun Bus goes nearby .

This review is for O'Malleys Irish Bar, Mooloolaba QLD

verified email - 12 Aug 2013

I had the $10 special lunch there recently, schnitzel with chips and salad, and it was an excellent meal, with fast and friendly service. It is rather dark inside, but I guess that is part of the Irish Pub ambience. It is easy to walk past the pub as it is set back from the main street behind some other shops on the ground level on the Mantra but is well worth seeking out. Next time I am in Mooloolaba I will have no hesitation is dining there again.

This review is for The Wharf Cruise Company, Mooloolaba QLD

verified email - 11 Aug 2013

This was a delightful cruise around the canals and harbour of Mooloolaba, looking at the homes of the rich and famous, learning how the islands around the canals were established, seeing the fishing fleet and yachts, watching the pelican and wild fish feeding, all while sailing through the harbour with lovely views back to the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. The operator, Wayne, gave an excellent commentary and the PA system itself could not be faulted. To cap it off you could get a yummy lunch back at the Mooloolaba Sharf Tavern for just $10.

If you are holidaying in the Mooloolaba area or just passing through this is THE place for Friday lunch or dinner....Texas T-bone with 2 chicken wings, chips and a delicious salad for just $10. Go early as it soon gets busy and you may have a bit of a wait even so the wait is well worth it as the food is so delicious. They also have a daily seniors menu with meals at $10 and $12.50.

This review is for Landmark Resort, Mooloolaba QLD

I recently escaped the cold of Tassie and spent 28 gorgeous sunny days at Mooloolaba. I chose a studio unit as I would be the only one occupying it and it proved quite adequate for my needs. There are also 1, 2 and 3 bedroom units available. It is in a very convenient location , close to the bus and the fares are SO cheap with a seniors card and the local go-card, and my beachside studio had a nice view across the beach and sea. The lapping of the ocean lulled me to sleep every night.

This review is for Four Seasons Chinese Takeaway, Hobart TAS

Whenever I am in the city at lunch time I get a take away from here. The food is excellent and always hot, in fact sometimes the bain maries are empty and you have to wait for freshly cooked food. Staff are always helpful .My only gripe is that their serving hours are limited.
