The service was excellent, food was great and the staff were very friendly and great value for money, also great deals on the $30 pp cruise and a free meal at the Tavern. They also sent me a gift voucher for $25.00 for my Birthday which was a lovely surprise. Thank you guys

My family and I went to the Tavern for my 50th Birthday. We arrived at the Tavern to find it was hot and muggy indoors. I went to the Poker machines room and it was air-conditioned. I asked the attendant if there was a problem with the Air Con in the restaurant and she rudely told me that it was not working but Manager was 'tweeking' with it. I asked if they could open some doors but she ignored me and walked away. As there were 10 of us in total, my family went to order their food separately. My husband ordered mine, our son and his first, then the others followed. When the food started arriving, the others were getting their food before us. My order was Chicken, as was another member of our party. When one arrived, it was given to the young man and I waited till my husband and son's arrived so I could eat with them. They took our order incorrectly, thinking that the Topper was WITH the Chicken order, it was not. My hubby just wanted a topper for a meal. They brought that and he ate it. Everyone had eaten their meals and my son (13) and I were still waiting. He ordered a Pizza. After an hour my daughter asked about our order. The waitress said that it comes as you ordered. We told her it was ordered first. She went away. She came back to say that all the orders were filled. My daughter pointed out that ours had not arrived. She went away then came back again to ask what was ordered. We told her Chicken Parm and Pizza. She went away again. Another waitress returned to say that the orders were filled but given to another table and they were going to make more. Everyone was finished, some had left the table and finally ours came. No apologies. After more than 2 hours in the restaurant, the air was still hot and muggy and most of the other customers had left. I am not happy with the service. If they even just lowered themselves to apologise I would have felt much better but I was ignored. I will never go there again and I am definitely telling everyone how bad it was.

If you are holidaying in the Mooloolaba area or just passing through this is THE place for Friday lunch or dinner....Texas T-bone with 2 chicken wings, chips and a delicious salad for just $10. Go early as it soon gets busy and you may have a bit of a wait even so the wait is well worth it as the food is so delicious. They also have a daily seniors menu with meals at $10 and $12.50.

I really dislike this venue. The security staff work on intimidation value which is understandable considering the drop-kicks they have come through but the patrons that are reasonably respectable have to bear the brunt. A few heightened standards in dress code could correct whom the club is attracting. The smokers area makes the whole bottom level stink and playing a game of pool is ruled out by the stench of the filthy toilets and the cigarette stench. The drinks are somewhat overpriced also. With the amount of drunk women, I would suggest dedicating a bar to fresh juice cocktails advisable as they are gentler on the stomach and prevent vomiting with the reduction of fake sugar and colouring from the soft drink mixes they are readily drinking. Cocktails can also be enjoyed for longer and charged at a more substantial price.

The music is also not all that crash hot. The downstairs bands are acceptable but the Dj's upstairs are nothing short of undeveloped and it's a crime that people are required to pay not only to enter the front door, but a second fee to get upstairs without a good DJ or anything all that special happening.

I think this club really takes advantage of the fact there really aren't that many places to go. It would be nice to see this place class it up a little.

This is one of the only night spots on the Sunshine Coast. Unfortunately, it is nothing flash at all. The bar staff are nice but the security can be hit and miss. Some are absolutely lovely and others just rude. To be fair, they deal with some pretty grotty patrons. I went here recently whilst on holidays (I now live in Melbourne) and within a few minutes, I walked in, up to the bar and *splat* a girl vomited onmy $140 suede shoes. There were people falling all over themselves, toilets were a mess, dance floor tiny and DJ of low quality. He kept "mixing" the music but in a very poorly executed manner. The drinks are extremely expensive and the cocktails, wine selection is average. The place really needs a clean up. It's just a tad tragic and trashy which is why they are attracting the clientele they are.

A lunch that was very relaxing venue overlooking the water. The service was very prompt, generous serving of food and the staff very pleasant. I will certainly return and take friends
