We hadn't dined here for a while and found ourselves in the vicinity at lunchtime yesterday. The service was pleasant and efficient, whilst the meal and coffee were most enjoyable. The ambience was better than usual because there were less diners than we remembered.

We invariably lunch here on a Saturday because of the ease of car parking and the quietness due to the lack of fellow diners. However, today there was an added extra. The pork belly with cabbage and beans was superb, whilst Jordan (our hostess) was efficient and charming. She also went the extra mile by providing samples of the wine to my wife and our friend, who were uncertain about ordering glasses of them. It turned out that the Hotel has recently changed hands and amongst the changes, the furniture has been renewed and the Menu is brilliantly constructed. I suggest that you consider doing yourself a favour!

We tried this cafe at random for lunch today and what a pleasant surprise! The service was efficient and friendly and the meal was superb. In addition, the ambience was warm.

We had a family dinner here this evening on the occasion of my wife's birthday. We had dined here before, but the various meals and the service were absolutely superb in every respect. Even our grandchildren happily ate a cuisine that they were unfamiliar with beforehand.

My wife is a very keen gardener and was recently disappointed that some of the pansies that she recently purchased had not flowered. However, a trip to Bunnings at Mile End was all that was needed to get her (and the pansies) back on track! An un-named male and Judy both offered advice as to a fertiliser that would due the trick and she accepted gratefully. The good news is that the pansies are well and truly flowering now.

My wife and I had something rare yesterday - time to have a leisurely lunch together! We chose Sportivo for a repeat performance and were extremely glad that we did! Charlotte offered a pleasant welcome and we chose to dine outdoors and, as we were earlybirds we were able to dine alone. The silence, compared to the noisiness of the other cafe that we considered going to, was absolutely divine. Also divine was the view of the Lake and the surrounding Homes. The meal was most enjoyable and Charlotte was pleasant and efficient.

I needed a replacement spring for the scissors on my beloved 36 year old Swiss Army Knife. Angel, the person who served me, produced a spring and asked if I knew how to instal it. When I answered no and that I hoped that she would live up to her name, she said that she would endeavour to do so but she hadn't done it before. I returned about 30 minutes later and she announced that she had successfully installed the spring, much to my delight!

My wife and I have dined here many times over the years and decided to have breakfast on our way home from the Barossa Valley Vintage Festival. We shared a ham and mushroom omelette which was absolutely superb in every respect! Our experience was greatly enhanced by Mine Host voluntarily fixing our rocky table without any fuss or bother!

My wife and I chose to have breakfast here and each selected a Ham and Cheese Croissant for our meal, which we ordered from Ashleigh. We expected it to be be closed, but it turned out to be open. This turned out to be an unexpected bonus as the flavour was greatly magnified and we enjoyed it immensely!

My wife and I randomly chose to have a takeaway pizza here and were surprised at the large number of takeawayers coming and going. We finally found out why! The satay chicken pizza that we chose was absolutely stunning! It was great value for money as well.
