I love stopping here on trips to the Barossa. They have a wide selection of pies, pasties and sausage rolls. Each one I have tried have been lovely and the pastry is quite good. Great seating areas or you can choose to go to the park across the road for a picnic.

I went to this place for a quick bite while visiting barossa valley last month. It has a article written about this restaurant in the tourisim magazine saying that their pies and nice. Although they have a variety of pies, but their pastry is not fluffy enough and the stuffings is abit salty. Besides pie, they do serve some main dishes as well. Nothing spectacular though. However, I love the place's decorartions. It is like travelling to a pub or bar in germany =)

I have visited the Lyndoch Bakery many times, both take away and dine in. I have always been impressed, their is sometimes confusion between the dine in and takeaway menu's but if you read the sign at the door it makes perfect sense. I think its definitely the best value and taste in Lyndoch and potentially the entire Barossa. If only it were open at night!

Approximate cost: $15

My wife and I have dined here many times over the years and decided to have breakfast on our way home from the Barossa Valley Vintage Festival. We shared a ham and mushroom omelette which was absolutely superb in every respect! Our experience was greatly enhanced by Mine Host voluntarily fixing our rocky table without any fuss or bother!

Approximate cost: $15.00
