Went for dinner. Were left waiting at the table, wondering if we were to get up and order at the counter or not.

Had garlic bread and the steak special with dianne sauce. Steak was cooked as requested, and the sauce was great. The side salad and fries were on the small side compared to other places that do cheaper steak specials.

Atmosphere was very loud and made it impossible to talk to friends at dinner - so much so we elected to go elsewhere for dessert so we were able to chat. ALTHOUGH - it was Wednesday night, which in Newcastle means Uni Student night.

Some interesting additions in decor including see through flooring - although it isnt very attractive down there (not sure if that was considered).

This is a pie shop that is usually frequented after a night out on the town - but also on a Sunday afternoon.

Great quality pies - I can recommend the chicken and mushroom in particular. ALSO the mash and pea additional extras are yummy too.

Have had a hot dog from here also - they are as good a quality as you can expect from a hot dog. The hot dog de wheels is pretty spectacular as they go.

Service is fantastic - these guys are usually dealing with drunken people, and they are quite patient and friendly.

Great spot on the foreshore - on sunday arvo you can grab a pie and then sit and eat it with a great view!

This is a fantastic vet clinic.

I have since moved a little further away - however, I will continue to take my pets there, as the level of care and service is well above those I have experienced elsewhere.

I have had a cat that had an emergency procedure at the after hours clinic in broadmedow. After this I took him to the RSPCA clinic, where they looked after him from Tuesday to Saturday to reduce his risk of falling ill again.

The team over there were so very helpful - answering all of my questions. Whenever I called to check on him (over the phone or in person) it was never too much trouble. And I was always allowed to go and visit the cat, and stay as long as I liked.

When taking him home on the Saturday I was informed that the nurses would be in the clinic the following morning should any difficulties arise.

These vets are lovely people, and they provide excellent service! And at such a competitive rate (eg. hospital grade boarding and monitoring and administration of pain killers - $30 per day).

They have also maintained that level of care - should I need to I can call and ask questions as they arise and get helpful advice.

I cannot recommend this service highly enough! They are wonderful!

I have been to this cafe several times in the past.

I have been in for both breakfast and lunch.

Breakfast menu - I have only ever had the eggs benedict. This is because it is THE BEST in town and thats all I want when I go there at breakfast time.

For the lunch menu, I have had one of their focaccias, which was very tasty.

I have not had one of their cakes - ALTHOUGH they look fantastic!

Their coffee is really well made - not too strong. Chai tea lattes here are also fantastic. PLUS they get served with tiny little shortbreads which are nice to nibble on!

Service is good - its my experience there is always a wait as it is so popular... But I dont mind for good quality food and coffee!

Price includes breakfast and coffee.

Quality of the coffee, chai, and the iced coffees are fantastic (dont know about remaining items). The quality of their chocolate mousse cake, almond croissants and cherry danish are very high - all were soooo enjoyable that I have had them on more than one occasion!

Service is usually friendly. Often there is a wait while coffee or food is prepared (but there is seating available). On one occasion I have been here and they have forgotten to deliver food to the table.

The prices are ok for the coffees, but the food is generally pricey. But having said that you are paying for really good quality food!

Cost for croissant and coffee below.

This bakery/cafe is to die for.

Firstly, the ambiance in the place is wonderful - contemporary with a touch of shabby chic interior. Plus you have the option of eat in or out.

I had the french toast that they have on the menu - sooooo yummy! I would definitely return for breakfast to this place for sure.

Also just from looking (not tasting) they have a scrumptious looking selection of cakes (which I have been told are fantastic to eat).

Coffee here was fabulous - the beans are lovely and there was no burning of the milk.

Service was friendly, and very well paced.

Approx cost includes coffee.

I have had a coffee here a couple of times. Usually service is quite fast, but this is reflected in the quality of the coffee. When I have been there - there is generally a bitter taste to the coffee. Although the flavored coffee selection was great - white chocolate mocha was the business!

Pricey as coffees go - especially the flavored ones!

Went in to buy some gym shoes, which on the website were quite well priced.

However, when I went in store to look at these shoes, there were none in the store. About 3 pairs that I was interested in were no where to be found.

I was also in store for around 20 minutes, and while there were at least double the number of staff to customers - I was not approached once! Instead staff chose to sit together and chat, rather than get a sale!

Quite disappointing as I did not get any advice or any of the shoes that I really wanted!

Frequently attend here for a coffee and cake rather than dinner per se.

Coffee is fantastic - as strong as you would like, and beautifully presented. I recommend having a latte or a chai!

There is always a selection of cakes to be drooled over, but I recommend anything that has been handmade by the owners. The rest of the desserts are what can by bought along virtually any of the cafes in Hamilton - BUT Georgia's handmade specialties are simply amazing (apple and rhubarb cake/crumble is to die for).

Great friendly service! Wonderful atmosphere - you can go with a large group and be merry or you can go for a quiet coffee and a chat.

Approximate cost: $10 (cake+coffee)
