Whalers has an amazing range of seafood and it is extremely difficult to choose what to get. I went with the Salmon which was absolutely mouth watering, the only other place I have had better was in New Zealand. There is also steak and chicken options for people who don't like seafood but honestly if you go here, get seafood. The service isn't worth a rate, they were very busy, we got no water, they didn't smile, and also barked at you rather than talk but the food very much made up for it and the prices were excellent considering it was such a lovely and well presented meal. We ate on tow occasions on the same holiday cus we loved it so much

I am a bit dissapointed to say that my meal here was ok but nothing exceptional, I had fish and chips but the batter was soggy and the chips were a bit old. People in the past have recommended this place to me so maybe I just went on a bad night. Staff were nice, they took my constructive critisicm about the meal very well and politely so I do commend them for this.

This place was amazing for a country town, they had so much to choose from. I had the prime fillet steak which came with a lovely arrangement of vegetables and some beautifully tender potatoes. My partner chose a curry, a red curry, he normally makes curry so is pretty fussy but he pretty much inhaled it so I assume he loved it! On top of the great food you get great views, I recommend sunset like we did

Approximate cost: $25

This place looks a bit dingy from the outside but it's actually not bad, the food is good quality for cafe food, not as greasy as other places. The toilets were immaculate and there is a good range of snack food. The staff were lovely, telling us the best places to visit in the area. I recommend you stop in and say hello, they really appreciate the business

In Monkey Mia we took part is so many different tours and this one was one of our favourites. We learnt so much about Indigenous culture and it's significance to this area of WA, the guide was so passionate and eager to share his stories. It is a shame it didn't go for longer because everyone was really getting in to it. We did the night time tour, it stared at 8.30pm and went for about 2 hours, they played didgeridoo as well which was very unique for us. Fantastic experience

We took part in the astronomy tour as my other half loves astronomy and was interested more in this then the pearl farm tour. I enjoyed the night despite not having much of an interest in astronomy. The guide is unbelievably knowledgable and knew the answer to every question hubby had. Hubby had a ball so I think it'd be great for anyone in to astronomy, you can tell the guide loves doing what he does and appreciates being able to share this with others

I can honestly say this was one of the most exilirating things I have done in my life - swim with the beautiful wildlife on Ningaloo Reef. I swan with turtles, reef SHARKS, manta rays and loads of fish it was truly amazing. All the equipment and training was provided by very friendly staff, they helped me out as I am not too confident in water, showed you where to look etc. I had the most amazing time and have told everyone to go up there and do it for yourself.

Whilst staying in Denham we went in to Monkey Mia a few times and one time was to do the wildlife sailing cruise. We took the mini cruise option that went for 1 hour and concentrated on dolphin spotting, it was enjoyable but you see the dolphins come in to shore each morning so it wasn't really worth doing the cruise as well. If we had of seen other animals like dugongs or turtles it probably would have been more worth it. If I did it again I would choose one of the longer cruises to hopefully get more out of it.

The biggest thing letting this property down is that they don't have a restaurant on site which would have been nice, they do have a little cafe but not really what I was after. They have great facilities such as a tennis court, BBQ and pool, we loved the BBQ idea considering there wasn't a restaurant. In terms of the rooms, try and get one of the rooms upstairs for better views, they have heaps of options for all budgets. Rooms are ok inside, clean and comfortable but don't be expecting too much

This resort was published as luxury but I tended to disagree with the word luxury, it was nice but due to that word my expectations were a lot higher. Just small things like the decor and bedsheets were very old and dated looking, the whole room really needs a revamp. The pool looked nice and it lovely to swim in, if not a bit cold! The staff were friendly and helpful with information on the area.
