Not being a beer drinker I generously suggested that we stop at this brewery as a treat for my partner. I ended up buying more than he did! I would encourage anyone who doesn't drink beer to give this place a go anyway - they have a couple of drinks that you just might like. They have a nice range of beers but also meads which is what I bought. The staff/owners were very nice and spent the time with us to give us lots of information.

This was a great place to stop in for breakfast. Fast, friendly service, a great atmosphere with some interesting artwork on display and fantastic food - all at a very reasonable price. There isn't much more that you could ask for in a cafe! Oh I believe the coffee was good too:)

This is a cute little cellar door. The owners are very friendly and the wines are great. The cellar door has a great view from it's hilltop location and the decor is very modern. We would definately recommend a visit to this vineyard. It is always nice to know you are supporting a small, family run business.

I highly recommend a visit to this winery/cellar door. The owners are a very interesting couple and have lots of great stories to tell. Their wines are really nice and they have an ever growing list - we tried their new Rose which we ended up buying even though we're not big Rose drinkers. Within the building and outside in the garden you will also be able to see a great number of sculptures created by Roderick who likes to collect and tinker. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and thank them for their hospitality.

This is a gorgeous cellar door with very friendly, informative staff. They have a great sense of humour and we learnt a lot not only about their wines, but about wine making in general. They have for tasting here a couple of different ranges of wines which is very convenient if you can't get out to the other wineries which are on the opposite side of the Tamar Valley. We were very excited to get the opportunity to taste some very premium wines which are not always available to taste.
We didn't eat here but the restaurant smelt absolutely divine and the view is just as good out over the water.

This is a fantastic family run winery. The wines are all crafted with great care and the proof is in the pudding as they say. We were particular fans of their 2008 reserve Pinot Noir. The staff (the owners and their children) were so warm and proud of their products and just loved sharing them with us. We really liked the cellar door building which houses a lot of the barrels they use in the wine making process, it makes you feel like you are right amongst the wine that you are drinking.

This cafe has one of the biggest breakfast menus you are likely to see! They also give you a wide variety of choices as to the toast you would like with your meal which was nice. The food we had for breakfast was very good and the portion sizes were very generous. The staff were warm and welcoming and overall our experience was everything you'd want from a breakfast. I particularly liked the decor and the deliberately non matching knives and forks.

This review is for Launceston Basin Chairlift, Launceston TAS

This was a fun experience although a little scary when you are dangling a long way above the lake. The price was a bit expensive for the amount of time the chairlift takes but it works out a bit better value if you travel both ways. The view is spectacular however the chair lift does look and feel quite old, which is a little unnerving. The staff were efficient and friendly.

Approximate cost: $12.00/15.00

The food here was not outstanding but nice enough. Prices were very reasonable and the staff were friendly. There was a good range of products and it was quite busy when we were here so it is clearly a popular place for lunch. It suited our needs of a quick, reasonable and cheap lunch.

This is a nice pizza restaurant with quite tasty pizzas. They are not the best we've eaten but they are well above average.
The decor of the restaurant could do with updating, however we really liked the pizza oven and making area which was a centrepiece of the restaurant. The range of pizzas available is really good and the service was very friendly.
The availability of the botttleshop within the restaurant gives you the ability to find a huge range of wines and other drinks to have with your meal (or you can buy to drink later).
