Our OC has endured this poor performing business for far too long.
They are too slow to respond. Some urgent repairs remain unresolved for more than a year.
Their accountancy systems are opaque.
They have not retained staff. In our case, we have had four different managers over a two year period. After a brief moment of enthusiasm, their response time quickly diminishes. The managers are polite and courteous, but ineffective. We wonder if this business has major internal problems.
I took out an extended warranty on my computer through Myer Product Cover. I have since discovered that, while they pick up your product for maintenance if you wish to claim warranty, they will charge you $55 if they decide that the fault does not come under their policy. I have never come across this policy with product insurance before. This cost is not mentioned in the policy document, but is simply announced on their phone message when you call them. Can they do this?
