David did a complete re-tile of our bathroom as previous owners of our house did it themselves and didn't water proof..

He had a younger guy working on our job and he came and looked at it (we hadn't complained, or anything) but he said he didn't like the workmanship and pulled parts off and redid them himself..

Approximate cost: $4000

I love this hobby shop, his prices are good, Michael is always really fast to get back to me via emailand the courier charges for large RC planes is actually REALLY low...

I can't really say much more other than I am a satisified repeat customer and hope to continue as such...

I am somewhat torn on this one, I had a number of issues at the start i.e. the staff communication was rather poor (as mentioned by other people who reviewed this company), but then I complained and the manager took over and he was very generous and it ended very well..

The vanity we bought was a timberline one (australian made) and the quality was fine, I certainly can't complain about that..

OK, as an energy supplier they are fine, infact pretty good..

But trying to send them documents is a waste of time. I had solar installed a few months ago and you have to send three documents to them.. The only ways to do so are via fax or email..

So the installer and I have both been trying to email the documents for the past month to three different emails they have given us. They keep just claiming they have never received them, though neither of us have ever got an undelivered bounce back..

Then I tried to fax them, the installer said not to bother, and now I understand why.. I can fax through a cover sheet with half a page of text but anything longer (like the actual forms I need to send) I just get a comm error back from their fax service and I can't get through to them, I left it re-trying for hours, wasting plenty of phone calls but it never got through. Again I have tried multiple fax machines with the same outcome (but can fax the documents elesewhere without issue)..

I have complained and they got back to me initially asking for more details but then stopped responding..

Moving back to AGL tonight..

As I said they were fine until I tried to get them to accept some additional documents for my solar and then they are just a nightmare...

I have been here a few times now and loved it each time..

Better book as they are busy most times, for good reason..

Friendly staff, good food (too many good items to list them here), and not too expensive..

You get what you pay for, for the price the TVs are OK but they are not as good as most name brand products.. I would prefer to spend more time hunting for a better TV on discount, and maybe paying slightly more.

Order processing and dispatch is very slow, this is no 'big brown box', don't expect top notch fast/smooth transactions.. Well that was my experience anyway..

I will avoid in the future..

Love hate kind of thing, they are very useful at times so you don't have to give your credit card details out online. But they can be kind of painful when things go wrong and I don't like how eBay and PayPal force you to stay with them for eBay purchases, but it is expected.

I recently had another bad experience applying for a refund through PayPal for an eBay purchase. I ordered a small product $8 with $2 worth of postage. It arrived and I realised the seller had accidentally sent the wrong item, unfortunately he was a little unstable and so I had to go through the PayPal refund process to get it sorted out.

So eventually the seller admitted fault and I had to send back the item, with online tracking, before I could get a refund. It only cost me $10 in total, so to get that back I needed to spend almost that much. So I am out of pocket $10 in the end but the seller gets their item back. Great buyer protection, seems like seller only protection, though I have seen many sellers complaining of ways they get ripped off too through the PayPal system.

I hope we get some more competition soon as the lack of choice does give them too much power.

I am surprised I am the first to review this company, they are to my knowledge run by the same group that run appliances online in Australia.

They provide a select range of brown goods from quality brands like Samsung, Panasonic, Sony, Sharp etc.. Their prices absolutely kill the electrical goods chains in Melbourne, and provide timely free delivery. I have bought a stereo and two LED tvs off them in the past year...

Everything was in-stock as they said it was, when you buy you choose what day you want it delivered (I always chose two working days ahead) and all three times it was delivered on-time, without problem.

What more can I say, I really like these guys, good products, Australian stock not grey market, fast delivery and great price..

I am finding the reliability of this site is in question for me.. I have found one company in particular on here which is listed as a 'Happy Customer' company that is downright terrible and shown on google and true local reviews almost unanimously as such..

They tend to have a LOT of positive 5 star reviews with impossible approx costs. Almost all of the 5 star reviews are from 1st time reviewers. The company charges $100 an hour for a 4t truck to move a house, then I see 5 star reviews from people talking about moving 2 and 3 bedroom houses across melbourne and with a total charge of $95 (less than one hour?)... I reported that as suspicious, womo don't agree it is suspicious as the email address and IP don't match the companies (or each others), I guess you can't get staff and friends to put false reviews up from home?

Now my main problem with this site, it is OK for streams of first time reviewers (or 10% trust ones that haven't even verified their email address) to push companies up, but womo have decided that negative reviews won't be shown from 10% trust new members, infact you need 70% trust for your negative review to be shown. I don't like that there is MUCH more effort required to put an honest negative review up compared to a 5 star review.

To womo's credit they got back to me on this issue, from my understanding of the conversation they feel they need to protect companies from, for example, disgruntled ex staff putting false negative reviews online. This is understandable to some extent, but why is that more important than discouraging shill reviews put up by companies staff and friends. Now I know you can't stop that but it is so easy to do in comparison..

So be very careful using any company with good reviews on this site especially when the reviewers haven't reviewed much else, I would suggest also double checking True local and google reviews just to be sure you don't get a very different picture of the company on there...

I am not saying all companies are bad here that get good reviews, I have found a few very good ones through listings here, but there are also some really terrible ones (in my experience) that are part of the happy customers program and have lots of good reviews (with the odd negative mixed in)..

Very worthwhile site.

Good prices, good service, just be sure to take advantage of their free samples so you can see what you are going to get before ordering..

I have used them twice now, and if I needed to would use them again without hesitation..
