Probably the best cafe in the box hill centro vicinity and a whole 50c cheaper for the same size coffee then what you pay at Gosh coffee just inside the doors of the shopping centre (who's coffee is not great anyway). The coffee is of a good standard at Faducci's, which surprised me as Box Hill isn't exactly the epicentre of cool Cafes and coffee snobs. The service is always exceptionally friendly, although I do find they sometimes ignore me for ages if I am sitting down inside, but not if I sit down outside...not sure why. Takeaway service is always fast and efficient. Perfect for if you're on the way to the train station and don't have time to make a large detour to find coffee.

I like this restaurant a lot, and it's great having it in an area where there isn't anything like it. The staff are always friendly but service can be unjustifiably slow for drinks even when there aren't many other customers. It is usually better service when the managers are there but when they're not, the staff slack off. Food is good, I often get the pumpkin ravioli dish and can recommend it, and the focaccias as well as the snacks and breads are good too. The cakes are always good and there is usually a range to choose from like a lighter cheesecake or apple pie right to a deathly looking chocolate cake.

Good cafe/restaurant, especially for inside a shopping centre. Always very busy, much busier than the one that is just around the corner on the same floor, so I think that says a lot. Coffee is always good, i have also had a vege pizza which was very nice and breakfast here many times and they always do the eggs very nicely, and that is something so many places really struggle with!

Great beer garden outside for the warmer days, large venue inside too with live music upstairs on weekends and quieter, more chilled live music downstairs on some weeknights. Staff are always good, drinks are reasonable priced. Food is good pub grub: parmas, light stuff like chips, wedges, nachos...all your standard but yummy pub fare and some good specials too.

The girls here do a great job every time and the prices are very reasonable, i would get a half head of foils, cut and blow wave all for 100 which is practically unheard of! I only stopped going there because of the distance from my house but they really are wonderful and I highly recommend them. They have coffee and sweets too.

Only been here to have the bar menu, and usually off that the Wagu beef burger and chips which are fantastic! the home made tomato ketchup is also delicious. On the expensive end but it is no wonder why, fantastic location on southbank, great food and very extensive wine list. I'll continue to go to lunch here whenever I can!

As far as a coffee shop goes, this nails it, surprisingly as it is located in a shopping centre! The coffee is always superb, I don't think I have ever waited more than 4 or 5 minutes for a coffee even when it's packed. They have loyalty cards too where your 8th is free which is nice and a standard cup is about $3.20 which you can't complain about at all. The staff are all good. They have sandwiches and other things in a fridge display and cookies and cakes, but I have never indulged, they do look good though.

I really like this bar/club. It's funky, cool, good crowd and 2 for 1 drinks from 11pm til 1am on Fridays and Saturdays which you don't find too often in the CBD on the weekend! You can usually get in for the $10 guestlist price at the door if you just ask them nicely, saves you $5! I like it because it isn't tooooo clubby and strikes the right balance of club and bar so you can sit and have a chat to your mates if you want without being inundated by flashing lights and larger dancefloors. The bouncers are all nice and not there to hassle you or be arrogant which makes a change. The only drawback can be the bar staff, I have worked in hospitality and behind bars for many years so I feel I have the right and knowledge to be able to say they are in fact way too slow and lack any sense of urgency, even when the bar is 3 people deep, which is at times frustrating. Smoking area is pretty cool, but it could have more ventilation.

I like this restaurant a lot. There is always a wait where you have to stand on the stairs but in my personal experience, it is usually a bit less time than the guy who is taking your name etc says (one time he told us 1 and a half hours and it was only 45). Whilst it is semi-frustrating that you can't book a table, I understand that's just they way they work! The sangria is great and if there are a few of you then the biggest jug is great value. The food is yummy and great for sharing. The service is good, not too attentive but not absent either, just the right balance. Overall a good restaurant where we always enjoy our night. Approx 50 per person if you want to eat and drink well, but you could definitely have a satisfying meal by itself for a lot less.

Approximate cost: $20-30
