Food and coffee are practically unbeatable! Always always amazing. I just wish it wasn't all communal tables and that there was better sound absorption because its very noisy and then sitting on the same table as other people and having their conversations right in your ear can get a bit much. Everything I have eaten there though has seriously been amazing.

Undeniably great food and coffee is always good too. Mr Jones folded scrambles are my favourite and the steak sanga deserves a special mention too! Does get very busy though and sometimes feels like its not worth the hassle. Be prepared to wait on a sat or sun morning.

I love their food and its good for a quick stop in for a meal but don't expect much atmosphere. I like the cashew chicken and the roti chanai is good too.

I have tried Platform 3 several times for coffee and have unfortunately been very disappointed each time. It's a shame because they have a good set up going on and whilst I can't comment on the taste of anything on the menu, it looks quite good and well put together. Without good coffee though, I won't be stopping by for a meal. I really wanted it to be good as I walk through box hill central once or twice a day to/from the train and if the coffee was good I would be a regular in a heartbeat.

Yum yum yum, always so good. The chicken in the butter chicken is so succulent, the mango chicken is amazing too. As is everything else I've tried over the years. I've been getting food there since 2005 and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon!

Katelyn at hairhouse warehouse did my hair last week and I couldn't be happier. She listened to me and made sure she knew exactly what my end goal was before starting anything. She also toned and cut my clip in hair extensions and made sure they blended with my real hair in every way. I think I've found my new hairdresser! After a bad experience with another hairdresser at an unrelated salon a few months ago I have been scared to go to any hairdresser but I'm so glad I did because I am so happy with the results :)

I ordered grilled fish there tonight and it came BATTERED and then grilled. What. the. hell? I have never had to specify at any fish and chip shop I have ever been to, that I want my grilled fish UNbattered. I called and queried it when I got home and realised and was basically told too bad because I didn't say I didn't want it battered. Well that was just lovely of them because it left me without dinner since I can't actually eat flour as I am gluten intolerant. Needless to say, I won't be back, there are several other fish and chip joints that grill fish unbattered without you asking. I can't even imagine people without gluten intolerance would want to eat battered grilled fish to be honest, the whole concept of mystifies me.

Not the most glamorous or hip place in Melbourne, but good service consistently and always have deals on drinks as well as discounts for people who work in the hospitality industry which I do so it's great. It's good for a cheap drink and nice to sit out on the balcony when the weather is good. There is also a half indoor smoking area that is good for all you smokers when the weather is bad. Good size danclefloor if that's what you're into!

Went for breakfast after I was told they had very yummy breakfasts and good coffee. Was somewhat disappointed overall...coffee was nice, not great. Service was a huge let down, I am quite sure they lost our docket as many table around us were coming in after us, ordering after us and then receiving food no less complicated then ours, before us! When we queried this they acted like there wasn't a problem and that it was a normal amount of time to wait, even though we explained about all the other customers. I understand these things happen, that dockets can be misplaced or done in the wrong order but I was very disappointed that there was no acknowledgment that they had maybe made a mistake and a simple apology instead they were defensive about it. Not cool. This really let them down because the breakfast itself was very yummy once it finally arrived after an hour wait. I think that the way a business handles problems speaks volumes about their standards and looking at it from this point of view, they really missed the mark.

This record store-cum-cafe just oozes style! For many years was just a record store for old school, meainstream and any kind of vinyl you want really but the changing of hands a few years ago also saw the introduction of a cafe as well. Limited seating and usually busy but i normally manage to get a seat somewhere. There are discounts on takeaway coffees for students which suits me perfectly as I dash to my lectures! When I have more time I sit and have coffee and maybe a croissant and study or have a chat to the guy who makes the coffee who is always really friendly. Only plain and chocolate croissants and danish's to eat as they have a tiny little coffee making area and counter.
